Introduction

The REDTIGER Golf Rangefinder is a high-performance laser rangefinder designed to provide accurate distance measurements for golf, hunting, and other outdoor activities. Setup

1. Charging the Device

The REDTIGER Golf Rangefinder is equipped with a rechargeable battery. Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged.

• Locate the USB-C charging port on the device.
• Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the rangefinder and a compatible 5V/2A power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
• The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Refer to the user manual for specific light indications.
• A full charge provides approximately 30,000 measurements.

2. Attaching the Hand Rope

For added security and to prevent accidental drops, attach the hand rope to your rangefinder.

• Locate the small loop on the side of the rangefinder.
• Thread the thin end of the hand rope through this loop.
• Pass the larger end of the hand rope through the loop you just created and pull tight to secure.

3. Using the Magnetic Belt Clip

The magnetic belt clip provides convenient access to your rangefinder during play.

• Attach the magnetic belt clip to your belt or golf bag.
• The rangefinder features a built-in magnetic stripe on its side, allowing it to securely attach to the belt clip or any metal surface on your golf cart.

Operating Modes

The REDTIGER Golf Rangefinder offers 6 measurement modes to suit various needs:

1. Slope Compensation Mode: Provides elevation-adjusted distance for more precise club selection.
2. Golf Flag Locking Mode: Locks onto the flag pole and vibrates to confirm target acquisition.
3. Horizontal & Height Ranging Mode: Measures horizontal distance and height.
4. Speed Measurement Mode: Measures the speed of moving objects.
5. Continuous Scan Measurement: Allows for continuous scanning of distances.

Switching Modes

Short press the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through the different measurement modes. The current mode will be displayed on the transflective LCD.

Using the Slope Switch

The slope switch allows you to toggle the slope compensation feature on or off. When the slope switch is turned on (indicated by red), the ballistic distance and degree of angle will be displayed, providing adjusted distances for uphill or downhill shots. For tournament play, ensure the slope switch is turned off (indicated by green) to comply with regulations.

Flag Pole Locking Vibration

This feature provides tactile feedback when the rangefinder successfully locks onto the flag pole, ensuring you have the correct distance to the target and not background objects.

Speed Measurement

The rangefinder can also measure the speed of moving objects, useful for various applications beyond golf.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use the provided lens cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
• Storage: Store the rangefinder in its portable soft case when not in use to protect it from dust, moisture, and impacts.
• Water Resistance: The device has an IP54 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against dust and splashing water. Avoid submerging the device in water.
