The ZAFRO 10,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner is a versatile 3-in-1 unit designed to provide cooling, dehumidification, and fan functions for rooms up to 450 sq. ft. It features a compact design with caster wheels for easy mobility.

Setup and Installation

The ZAFRO portable air conditioner is designed for easy setup. It can be installed in rooms with hung windows or sliding windows.

Unpacking and Initial Placement:

Window Kit Installation:

The included window kit is adaptable for both sliding and double/single-hung windows.

  1. Assemble the window slider kit by connecting the panels to fit your window opening.
  2. Open the window and place the assembled window kit securely in the window frame. Close the window against the kit to hold it in place.
  3. Attach one end of the exhaust hose to the unit's exhaust port.
  4. Attach the other end of the exhaust hose to the window kit adapter.
  5. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leakage.

Operating Instructions

The ZAFRO portable air conditioner offers multiple operating modes and can be controlled via the digital display panel or the included remote control.

The air outlet louvers can be manually adjusted up and down to direct the airflow as needed.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ZAFRO portable air conditioner.

Cleaning the Air Filter:

The unit features a removable and washable double-layer air filter. It is highly recommended to clean the air filter every two weeks of operation for best performance.

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
  2. Locate and remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
  3. Wash the filter under running water (warm, soapy water can be used if very dirty).
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

Draining Water:

During dehumidification or cooling, water will accumulate inside the unit. The unit has a self-evaporative system, but in high humidity conditions, manual draining may be necessary.
