4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the timer.
- Slide off the power cover.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.
- Replace the power cover securely.
4.2 Powering On/Off
Slide the Power Switch on the back of the timer to the "ON" position to turn it on. The screen will display all numbers for 2 seconds, then show "00:00:00" or the last set time. Slide the switch to "OFF" to power down and save battery life.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Setting the Countdown Timer
- Ensure the timer is powered on.
- Press the HOUR button to set the desired hours.
- Press the MIN button to set the desired minutes.
- Press the SEC button to set the desired seconds.
- To clear the set time, press the HOUR and MIN buttons simultaneously.
- Press the STOP/START button to begin the countdown. The display will show the time decreasing.
- To pause the countdown, press the STOP/START button again. Press it once more to resume.
- When the countdown reaches zero, the alarm will sound or flash (depending on the selected mode) for 60 seconds.
- Press any button to stop the alarm. The timer will return to the last set time (memory function).
5.2 Using the Count-Up Timer (Stopwatch Function)
- Ensure the timer is powered on and the display shows "00:00:00". If a time is set, clear it by pressing HOUR and MIN simultaneously.
- Press the STOP/START button to begin counting up from "00:00:00".
- To pause the count-up, press the STOP/START button again. Press it once more to resume.
- To reset the count-up timer to "00:00:00", pause the timer and then press HOUR and MIN simultaneously.
5.3 Sound and Mute Modes
The timer offers both an audible alarm and a silent flashing light alarm. Use the Ringtone/Flash Switch on the back of the device to select your preferred mode.
- Sound Mode: When the switch is set to sound mode, the timer will emit an audible beep when the countdown finishes. Each button press will also produce a key tone.
- Mute Mode: When the switch is set to mute mode, the timer will flash a light on the "STOP/START" button when the countdown finishes, without producing any sound. Button presses will also be silent.
