Setup

Operation

Using the Digital Controller

The digital controller allows you to customize heat settings and set a timer for automatic shut-off. The backlit display shows the current temperature and remaining time.

1. Power On/Off: Press the power button (⏻) to turn the heating pad on or off. The backlit display will illuminate upon activation.
2. Adjust Heat: Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease the temperature. The heat range is from 86°F to 150°F. Start with the lowest setting and gradually increase as tolerated.
3. Set Timer: Press the M (Mode) button to cycle through available timer settings. The timer allows the pad to automatically shut off after a set period. The display will show the remaining time.
4. Automatic Shut-Off: The pad is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature for safety. It will turn off after the programmed time or a default period if no timer is set.

Using Moist Heat

For deeper heat penetration, the moist heat insert can be used. This is particularly beneficial for relieving deep muscle stiffness and pain.

1. Prepare Insert: Remove the moist heat insert from the heating pad cover.
2. Moisten: Lightly spray or dampen the moist heat insert with water. Do not soak.
3. Reinsert: Place the dampened insert back into the heating pad cover, ensuring it is flat and evenly distributed.
4. Use: Operate the heating pad as described above. The moisture will enhance the heat therapy.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning the Micro-Fleece Cover

The ultra-soft micro-fleece cover is machine washable for easy cleaning.

1. Disconnect: Always unplug the heating pad from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Remove Cover: Detach the micro-fleece cover from the heating pad.
3. Machine Wash: Machine wash the cover on a gentle cycle with cold water.
4. Tumble Dry: Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Do not bleach or iron.
5. Reattach: Once completely dry, reattach the cover to the heating pad.

Storage

• Pad Not Heating:

  • Inspect the cord and pad for any visible damage. If damaged, discontinue use.
• Inconsistent Heat:
  • Ensure the heating pad is laid flat and not folded or bunched during use.
  • Confirm the selected temperature setting on the controller.
• Controller Display Not Working:
  • Unplug the unit from the wall outlet, wait a few minutes, and plug it back in.
  • Ensure the power button is pressed.
