1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your CooSpo BC107 GPS Bike Computer and BK467 Cadence/Speed Sensor. Please read thoroughly before first use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the devices.

2. What's in the Box

The package includes the following components:

3. Setup

3.1. Device Activation and Charging

Before first use, fully charge the BC107 bike computer using the provided charger cable. Connect the cable to the device and a USB power source. The device will display charging progress.

3.2. Mount Setup

The BC107 can be installed using either an out-front mount or a standard mount.

Out Front Mount Installation:

  1. Secure the out-front mount to your bicycle's handlebars using the provided screw wrench.
  2. Attach the BC107 to the mount by twisting it into place until it locks securely.

Standard Mount Installation:

  1. Place the rubber pad on your bike's stem or handlebars.
  2. Position the standard mount over the rubber pad.
  3. Use the rubber rings to firmly secure the mount to your bike.
  4. Attach the BC107 to the mount by twisting it into place until it locks securely.

3.3. Basic Operation of BC107

Familiarize yourself with the device buttons:

  • Left Button (Power/Save/Exit): Press to power on/off (hold), save data, or exit menus.
  • Middle Button (Enter/Select): Press to enter a selection or confirm.
  • Right Button (Switch/Adjust): Press to switch display content or adjust values.

To power on, press the left button. To enter setting mode, hold the right button. Use the middle button to select and enter, and the right button to adjust numbers or switch options. Press the left button to save and exit settings.

3.4. CoospoRide App Setup

The CoospoRide app allows for quick setup, firmware updates, and data synchronization.

  1. Download and install the CoospoRide app on your smartphone.
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the CoospoRide app has Bluetooth authorization.
  3. Open the app and select to bind your bike computer (BC107). The app will search for the device.
  4. Once connected, navigate to the bike computer settings within the app.
  5. Set your user information (gender, age, weight, height).
  6. Configure bike settings, including the actual wheel size of your bike for accurate speed sensor data.
  7. Adjust units (e.g., kg/km/c or lb/mi/f) and time zone settings.
  8. Save all settings.

3.5. Sensor Pairing (ANT+ & Bluetooth)

The BC107 supports ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity for various sensors. The BK467 sensor supports both ANT+ and Bluetooth 4.0.

  1. Ensure your sensors (e.g., heart rate monitor, speed, cadence, power meter) are activated and not connected to other devices.
  2. On the BC107, enter the setting mode (P1 for ANT+ sensor connection).
  3. The BC107 will search for available ANT+ sensors. Once detected, they will pair automatically.
  4. For the BK467 Cadence/Speed Sensor:
    • To switch to Cadence Mode: Reinstall the battery until the BLUE indicator flashes.
    • To switch to Speed Mode: Reinstall the battery until the RED indicator flashes.
  5. Mount the BK467 sensor appropriately for the selected mode (e.g., on the crank arm for cadence, on the wheel hub for speed).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. GPS Positioning

The BC107 features dual GPS positioning for accurate tracking.

  • GPS searching is automatic after power on.
  • For successful GPS positioning, ensure you are outdoors. Bad weather or dense forest areas may affect the GPS signal.
  • It is recommended to remain stationary for 3-5 minutes to allow the device to establish a strong connection with satellites for better GPS signal accuracy.
  • If you begin riding without a GPS signal or a speed sensor, speed data will be invalid.

4.2. Starting and Recording a Ride

  1. Once GPS positioning is successful (or sensors are connected), press the middle button to start cycling recording.
  2. During a ride, press the left button to record a lap.
  3. Press the right button to switch between different display content screens.
  4. To pause recording, press the middle button.
  5. To quit recording and save your ride data, hold the middle button.

4.3. Syncing Data to Strava

You can sync your activity data to Strava via the CoospoRide App.

  1. Ensure your CoospoRide app is connected to your BC107.
  2. In the CoospoRide app, navigate to the 'More' section and confirm that 'Sync with Strava' is authorized.
  3. Go to the 'Activity' section in the app.
  4. Select the activities you wish to upload and initiate the upload process.
  5. Once synced, your ride data will appear in your Strava account.

Note: You cannot transfer ".Fit" files directly to Strava by USB transmission on your PC.

6. Maintenance

  • Clean the device regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed to maintain IP67 water resistance.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Periodically check the sensor and mount for secure attachment and signs of wear.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the device is fully charged.
  • No GPS signal: Move to an open outdoor area. Wait 3-5 minutes for satellite connection.
  • Sensor not connecting: Ensure the sensor is activated (not in sleep mode) and not paired with another device. Reinstall the sensor battery to wake it up if necessary.
  • Incorrect speed/cadence data: Verify the wheel size setting in the CoospoRide app is accurate. Ensure the BK467 sensor is in the correct mode (speed or cadence) and properly mounted.
  • Data not syncing to Strava: Check Bluetooth connection to the CoospoRide app. Confirm Strava authorization within the CoospoRide app settings.
