3. Product Overview
3.1 Main Unit and Front Panel

The front panel of the main unit provides access to various controls and displays:
- LED Digital Display: Shows time, mode, track number, and radio frequency.
- CD Compartment: Top-loading tray for CD playback. Marked with "OPEN" and "CLOSE".
- IR Sensor: Receives signals from the remote control.
- PLAY/PAUSE/M- Button: Initiates or pauses playback; used for tuning down in FM mode.

3.3 Remote Control
The remote control provides convenient access to all functions from a distance. It requires 1 Lithium Metal battery (included).
- Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
- Function/Mode Buttons: Selects input sources (CD, FM, BT, AUX, USB).
- Volume Up/Down: Adjusts volume level.
- Play/Pause, Stop, Skip/Tune Buttons: Controls media playback and radio tuning.

4. Setup
4.1 Connecting Speakers
- Locate the speaker terminals on the rear of the main unit and on each speaker.
- Connect the speaker wires from the left speaker to the LEFT speaker terminals on the main unit, ensuring correct polarity (e.g., red to red, black to black).
- Repeat for the right speaker, connecting it to the RIGHT speaker terminals.
4.2 Power Connection
- Insert the AC power cord into the AC IN socket on the rear of the main unit.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard AC 120V ~ 60Hz wall outlet.
4.3 FM Antenna Connection
- Connect the supplied FM antenna wire to the FM antenna terminal on the rear of the unit.
- Extend the antenna wire fully and position it for optimal FM reception.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
- Power On: Press the STANDBY button on the unit or the Power button on the remote control.
- Power Off/Standby: Press the STANDBY button again.
- Select Mode: Press the FUNCTION button on the unit or the corresponding mode button (CD, FM, BT, AUX, USB) on the remote control to switch between input sources.
5.2 CD Playback
- Press the FUNCTION button to select CD mode.
- Press the OPEN button on the top of the unit to open the CD compartment.
- Place a CD (CD-R, CD-RW compatible) with the label side facing up into the compartment.
- Press the CLOSE button to close the compartment. The unit will read the CD and begin playback automatically or display the total number of tracks.
- Press PLAY/PAUSE/M- to play or pause.
- Press STOP/M+ to stop playback.
- Press SKIP- or SKIP+ to skip tracks.
- Program Play: While in stop mode, press PLAY MODE PROG/MEM to enter program mode. Use SKIP- or SKIP+ to select a track, then press PLAY MODE PROG/MEM again to save it. Repeat for up to 20 tracks. Press PLAY/PAUSE/M- to start programmed playback.
5.3 FM Radio Operation
- Press the FUNCTION button to select FM mode.
- Auto Scan: Press and hold the PLAY MODE PROG/MEM button for a few seconds. The radio will automatically scan and save up to 10 available FM stations.
- Manual Tuning: Briefly press PLAY/PAUSE/M- or STOP/M+ to fine-tune the frequency.
- Recall Presets: Briefly press PLAY MODE PROG/MEM to cycle through saved preset stations.
5.4 Bluetooth Operation
- Press the FUNCTION button to select Bluetooth (BT) mode. The display will show "BT" and flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "PRCD804BT" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the unit will emit a confirmation tone, and "BT" on the display will stop flashing.
- You can now play audio from your device through the micro system. Use your device or the unit's controls for playback (play/pause, skip).
5.5 AUX-in Operation
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX-in jack on the unit using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Press the FUNCTION button to select AUX mode.
- Audio from the connected device will now play through the micro system. Control playback from your external device.
5.6 USB Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front panel.
- Press the FUNCTION button to select USB mode.
- The unit will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3) from the USB drive.
- Use PLAY/PAUSE/M-, STOP/M+, SKIP-, and SKIP+ buttons to control playback.
5.7 Clock and Sleep Timer
- Setting the Clock: In standby mode, press and hold the CLOCK SLEEP button. Use SKIP- or SKIP+ to adjust hours, then press CLOCK SLEEP to confirm. Repeat for minutes.
- Setting the Sleep Timer: During playback, repeatedly press the CLOCK SLEEP button to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 10, 20, 30, 60, 90 minutes, OFF). The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.
6. Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your micro system.
- Cleaning the Unit: Disconnect the power cord before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- CD Lens Care: If CD playback issues occur, use a commercially available CD lens cleaner disc to clean the laser lens.
- Speaker Grilles: Gently brush off dust from the speaker grilles using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place.
