5. Setup

5.1 Connecting the Device

  1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the Dune HD Homatics Box R Plus.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI input on your TV or display.
  3. For wired internet, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the device. For Wi-Fi, this step is not necessary.
  4. Connect the power adapter to the DC 12V port on the device, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.

5.2 Initial Power On and Configuration

  1. Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input source.
  2. The device will power on automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup.
  3. Pair the Bluetooth remote control as prompted. Insert the included AAA batteries into the remote.
  4. Connect to your Wi-Fi network or confirm the wired connection.
  5. Sign in with your Google account to access Android TV features, Google Play Store, and Chromecast built-in functionality.
  6. Install desired streaming applications (e.g., Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, HBO Max) from the Google Play Store.

Use the directional pad and OK button on the remote to navigate the Android TV interface. The Home button returns you to the main screen, and the Back button navigates to the previous screen.
