Thank you for choosing the Ortizan X8 Pro or X10 Portable Bluetooth Speaker. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your speaker to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Please read these instructions carefully before use.

2. Package Contents

Upon unpacking, please ensure all items are present:

3. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the speaker's controls and ports.

Control Buttons:

• Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off.
• Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, SD Card, USB, and AUX modes.
• Play/Pause/Call Button: Short press to play/pause music. Short press to answer/end calls. Long press to activate voice assistant.
• Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
• Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
• EQ Button: Short press to cycle through different equalizer sound modes (e.g., Jazz, Rock, Pop).
• TWS Pairing Button (+Z): Press to initiate True Wireless Stereo pairing with another identical Ortizan speaker.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your speaker. The battery indicator lights will show charging progress.

1. Open the waterproof flap on the side of the speaker.
2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the speaker's USB-C port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
3. Charging time is approximately 3-4 hours for a full charge.
4. The power indicator lights will illuminate to show the battery level.
5. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the waterproof flap.

4.2. Bluetooth Pairing

Connect your speaker wirelessly to a Bluetooth-enabled device.

1. Power on the speaker by pressing and holding the Power button for 2 seconds. The speaker will enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing blue light.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Ortizan X8PRO" or "Ortizan X10" from the list.
4. Once connected, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone, and the blue indicator light will stop flashing.

4.3. Wired Connection (AUX Mode)

For devices without Bluetooth, use the auxiliary audio cable.

1. Open the waterproof flap on the side of the speaker.
2. Connect one end of the auxiliary audio cable to the speaker's AUX-in port.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to your audio device's headphone jack.
4. Press the Mode button (M) on the speaker to switch to AUX mode.
5. Close the waterproof flap if not charging simultaneously.

4.4. SD Card / USB Playback

Play music directly from a Micro SD card or USB drive.

1. Open the waterproof flap on the side of the speaker.
2. Insert a Micro SD card into the Micro SD card slot or a USB drive into the USB port.
3. Press the Mode button (M) to switch to the corresponding playback mode.
4. The speaker will automatically begin playing music from the inserted storage device.
5. Close the waterproof flap after inserting the card/drive.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds.

5.2. Volume Control

• Increase Volume: Short press the Volume Up (+) button.
• Decrease Volume: Short press the Volume Down (-) button.

5.3. Track Control

• Next Track: Long press the Volume Up (+) button.
• Previous Track: Long press the Volume Down (-) button.

5.4. Light Modes

The speaker features dynamic LED lights with 7 colors and 6 lighting modes. The lights can sync with the music beat.

• To cycle through light modes or turn lights off, refer to the specific button on your speaker (often integrated with the EQ or a dedicated light button, if available).

5.5. EQ Modes

Press the EQ button to switch between different sound equalization modes for enhanced audio experience (e.g., for more bass or clarity).

5.6. Call Handling

• Answer/End Call: Short press the Play/Pause/Call button.
• Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause/Call button.

5.7. Voice Assistant

Long press the Play/Pause/Call button to activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

5.8. Wireless Stereo Pairing (TWS)

Connect two identical Ortizan speakers for an immersive stereo sound experience. Note: Ortizan X8PRO cannot be wirelessly stereo paired with X10. Only Ortizan speakers of the same model can be paired.

1. Ensure both Ortizan speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker, short press the TWS Pairing button (+Z). It will emit a tone and the indicator light will flash.
3. The speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once paired, a confirmation tone will sound.
4. Connect your device to one of the paired speakers via Bluetooth. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Waterproof Care (IPX7 Rating)

Your Ortizan speaker is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. To maintain its waterproof integrity:

• Always ensure the waterproof flap covering the charging and auxiliary ports is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
• Do not expose the speaker to saltwater or other chemicals, as this may damage the seals.
• After exposure to water, especially chlorinated or saltwater, rinse the speaker with fresh water and dry it thoroughly before charging or opening the port flap.

6.2. Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.3. Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.

7. Troubleshooting

• Speaker won't turn on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
• Cannot pair via Bluetooth:
  • Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing blue light).
  • Make sure the speaker is not already connected to another device.
  • Disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your device.
  • Move the speaker closer to your device.
• No sound:
  • Check volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Ensure the correct mode (Bluetooth, AUX, SD, USB) is selected.
  • For wired connection, ensure the AUX cable is fully inserted.
• Poor sound quality:
  • Ensure the speaker is within Bluetooth range (up to 10 meters).
  • Check for obstructions between the speaker and your device.
  • Try a different audio source or file.
• TWS pairing issues:
  • Ensure both speakers are the same model (e.g., two X8PROs or two X10s).
  • Make sure both speakers are not connected to any other Bluetooth device before initiating TWS pairing.
