1. Introduction

The ACEBELL Wireless Video Doorbell Intercom System (Model US707) provides a secure and convenient way to monitor your entryway and communicate with visitors. This system operates on a 915MHz frequency band for reliable signal transmission and features a 7-inch 1080P touch screen monitor. It is designed for standalone operation and does not require Wi-Fi or a mobile application for use, ensuring privacy and eliminating monthly fees.

3. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Charging the Doorbell Battery

Before installation, fully charge the doorbell's rechargeable battery using the provided USB cable and adapter. The battery is typically located within the doorbell unit and can be removed for charging or charged while installed if accessible.

4.2 Doorbell Camera Installation

Choose a suitable location for your doorbell camera, typically next to your front door. Ensure the area provides a clear view of visitors and is within range of the indoor monitor. The doorbell is waterproof, allowing for outdoor installation.

  • Mark the drilling points using the mounting bracket as a template.
  • Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
  • Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with screws.
  • Attach the doorbell camera to the mounting bracket.

Caution: Do not install the doorbell camera on metal doors or metal walls, as this can significantly interfere with the 915MHz wireless signal transmission to the indoor monitor.

4.3 Indoor Monitor Placement and Power

Place the 7-inch touch screen monitor in a central location within your home where you can easily access it and receive signals from the doorbell. The monitor requires continuous power via the provided adapter.

  • Connect the power adapter to the monitor and plug it into a wall outlet.
  • Ensure the monitor's antenna is extended for optimal signal reception.

4.4 Signal Transmission and Range

The system uses a 915MHz frequency for wireless communication, offering good penetration through walls. Signal performance can vary based on environmental factors such as wall materials and thickness.

  • Optimal signal: Up to 100% without hindrance.
  • Through wood/glass: Approximately 80% signal strength.
  • Through stone: Approximately 60-70% signal strength.
  • Through metal: Significantly reduced signal (10-30%), or no signal.

4.5 Connecting the Unlock Module (Optional)

If you wish to integrate door unlocking functionality, connect the provided unlock module to your electronic lock system. Refer to the diagram below for wiring instructions. This module communicates wirelessly with the doorbell and monitor.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Answering a Call

When a visitor presses the doorbell button, the indoor monitor will ring and display the live video feed from the doorbell camera. Touch the screen to answer the call and initiate two-way audio communication.

5.2 Two-Way Audio

The system supports two-way audio, allowing you to speak with visitors at your door and hear their responses through the monitor's built-in speaker and microphone.

5.3 Motion Detection

The doorbell camera features PIR motion detection. When motion is detected within approximately 5 meters of the doorbell, an alert will be pushed to the indoor monitor. The system will automatically record a video clip of the event and save it to the TF card.

5.4 Night Vision

The doorbell camera is equipped with infrared night vision, automatically switching to night mode in low-light conditions. This ensures clear video images of visitors even in complete darkness.

5.5 Video Playback and Local Storage

All recorded events, including doorbell rings and motion detection videos, are stored locally on the included 32GB TF card within the indoor monitor. You can review these recordings directly on the monitor without any subscription or monthly fees.

  • Access the playback menu on the monitor's touch screen.
  • Browse through recorded events by date and time.
  • Play, pause, or fast-forward recordings as needed.

5.6 Door Unlocking (with optional module)

If the unlock module is installed and connected to an electronic lock, you can unlock your door directly from the indoor monitor during a call or while monitoring the doorbell feed. A dedicated unlock icon will appear on the screen.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the doorbell camera lens and the monitor screen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery: The doorbell battery life depends on usage. Recharge the battery when the low battery indicator appears on the monitor.
  • TF Card: The 32GB TF card provides ample storage. Periodically review and delete old recordings if storage becomes full, or replace the card with a larger capacity (up to 128GB) if needed.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates for improved performance or new features. Follow the instructions provided with the update carefully.

7. Troubleshooting
