The TONEMAC M3 Wireless Earbuds are designed to provide a high-quality audio experience with active noise cancellation and clear call capabilities. This manual provides instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and charging case. Connect the provided USB cable to the charging case and a power source. The charging indicator on the case will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

  • Earbud Playtime: Up to 7 hours with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) enabled.
  • Total Playtime (with charging case): Up to 30 hours.

3.2 Pairing with a Device

  1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, PC), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "TONEMAC M3" from the list of found devices to connect.
  4. Once successfully paired, the earbuds will automatically connect to your device when the case is opened for subsequent uses.

The earbuds support multipoint connection, allowing connection to two devices simultaneously (e.g., iOS, Android, PC). Switching between devices is seamless.

3.3 Selecting Eartips and Fit

For optimal sound quality and noise cancellation, choose the eartips that provide the best seal and comfort. Three sizes (L, M, S) are included. Insert the earbuds into your ears and gently twist until they feel secure and comfortable.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Touch Controls

The TONEMAC M3 earbuds feature touch controls for various functions:

  • Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
  • Next Track: Double tap on the right earbud.
  • Previous Track: Double tap on the left earbud.
  • Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.
  • Activate Voice Assistant: Triple tap on either earbud.
  • Switch Noise Control Modes: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds (cycles through Noise-cancelling, Transparency, Music, Game modes).

4.2 Noise Control Modes

The earbuds offer four distinct operating modes:

  • Noise-cancelling Mode: Reduces ambient noise by up to 35dB for an immersive listening experience. Both earbuds must be worn for optimal effect.
  • Transparency Mode (Outside Sound Intake Mode): Allows you to hear your surroundings while listening to audio, enhancing situational awareness.
  • Music Mode: Standard audio playback mode without active noise cancellation or transparency.
  • Game Mode: Provides ultra-low latency (38ms) for improved synchronization between audio and video, ideal for gaming and video consumption.

4.3 Making Calls

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean your earbuds and charging case to maintain optimal performance and hygiene.

  • Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the earbuds and charging case.
  • Remove eartips and clean them with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.2 Storage

When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them from dust and damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

5.3 Water Resistance

The earbuds are rated IPX5 water-resistant, meaning they can withstand splashes and sweat. They are not designed for submersion in water. Ensure the earbuds are dry before placing them back in the charging case.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TONEMAC M3 earbuds, refer to the following common solutions:
