Safety Information
Warning:
- Always keep this product dry. Do not disassemble. Should repairs become necessary, this product must be sent to an authorized maintenance center.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Stop using this product if it breaks open due to extrusion, falling or strong hit. Otherwise, electric shock may occur if you touch the electronic parts inside it.
- Do not fire the flash directly into the eyes (especially those of babies) within short distances. Otherwise, visual impairment may occur.
- Do not use the flash unit in the presence of flammable gases, chemicals and other similar materials. In certain circumstances, these materials may be sensitive to the strong light emitted from this flash unit and fire or electromagnetic interference may result.
- Do not leave or store the flash unit if the ambient temperature reads over 50°C. Otherwise the electronic parts may be damaged.
- As this product do not have waterproof function, please take measures of waterproofing in rainy or damp environments.
- Turn off the flash unit immediately in the event of malfunction.

Setup
Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the side of the flash unit.
- Insert four AA batteries (alkaline or Ni-MH recommended) according to the polarity indicators inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Mounting on Camera
The TT685II-O features a quick-release lock for secure and easy mounting onto your camera's hot shoe.
- Ensure the quick-release lock is in the unlocked position.
- Slide the flash unit's hot shoe foot into your camera's hot shoe slot.
- Push the quick-release lock forward until it clicks into place, securing the flash unit firmly to the camera.
- To remove, push the quick-release lock backward to unlock and slide the flash unit off the hot shoe.

Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the flash on or off.
- LCD Panel: The LCD panel displays current settings, flash mode, power output, and other relevant information.
- Control Dial: Rotate the control dial to adjust settings such as power output or zoom level. Press the SET button to confirm selections.
Flash Modes
The TT685II-O supports various flash modes to suit different photographic needs:
- TTL Auto Flash Mode: This mode automatically sets the flash output for correct exposure. It supports HSS (High-Speed Sync) up to 1/8000s, FEC (Flash Exposure Compensation), FEB (Flash Exposure Bracketing), and rear-curtain sync.
- Manual Flash Mode (M): Allows you to manually set the flash output from 1/1 (full power) to 1/128 in 1/3 stop increments. This mode offers precise control over lighting.
- Multi Flash Mode (Stroboscopic): Fires a series of rapid flashes to capture multiple images of a moving subject in a single photograph. You can set the number of flashes, frequency, and power output.

Godox 2.4G Wireless X System
The TT685II-O features a built-in Godox 2.4G wireless X system, allowing it to function as both a master and slave unit. This enables seamless integration with other Godox flashes and triggers for advanced wireless lighting setups.

TCM Instant Conversion
The TCM (TTL Converted to Manual) function allows for instant conversion of a TTL flash exposure value into a manual power output. This feature helps to lock in the proper exposure value, ensuring consistent and accurate lighting when switching from automatic to manual control.

Wide Light Coverage (Zoom Function)

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the flash unit. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Do not use strong detergents or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the flash unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the flash unit to strong impacts, as this can damage internal components.
