3. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the Banknote Detector and Power Adapter from the package.
2. Battery Connection: Locate the lithium battery in the battery compartment. Ensure the small plug is securely connected to the banknote detector if you intend to operate the device using battery power.
3. Power Connection: For indoor use or charging, connect the AC 100-240V power adapter (US plug) to the DC Output Jack on the detector and then to a power outlet.
4. Screen Film Removal: For optimal viewing, gently peel off any thin protective film from the LED display screen.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the device. The LED display will illuminate.
2. Select Currency (if applicable): Use the "CUR/DIR" button to toggle between supported currencies (USD or EURO).
3. Insert Banknote: Feed the banknote into the right side of the automatic feed system. Ensure the banknote is inserted correctly and smoothly.
4. Automatic Detection: The machine will automatically scan the banknote using UV, MG, IR, paper quality, thickness, and size detection.
5. Read Results: The large LED display will show the currency type, bill exit direction, total number of pieces counted, and the total value.
6. Clear Count: To reset the count for a new batch of bills, press the "REP/CLR" button. The data will automatically reset to zero after reaching 999 pieces or a total value of 9999.

5. Maintenance

• Regular Cleaning: The detector has an openable lid. Periodically open the lid and clean any accumulated dust from the internal components to ensure accurate bill verification.
• Screen Care: If the display screen appears scratched or used, ensure the thin protective film has been completely removed. The item is 100% new, and any perceived scratches are likely on this film.

6. Troubleshooting

• Incorrect Bill Detection: If the machine frequently misidentifies bills or gives a loud "BEEP" sound for genuine currency, ensure the banknote is fed close to the right side of the slot.
• Unclear Display: Verify that the protective film on the screen has been completely removed for a better viewing experience.
• Power Issues: Ensure the lithium battery is properly connected with its small plug in the battery compartment, or that the power adapter is securely plugged into both the device and a working power outlet.
• Inaccurate Counts: If counts are inconsistent, perform regular cleaning of the internal sensors by opening the lid and removing dust.
