Operating Instructions
Charging Batteries
- The included batteries are pre-charged at the factory and can be used immediately upon receipt. For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to fully charge them before the first use.
- Once batteries are correctly inserted and the charger is connected to a power source, the charging process will begin automatically.
- The charger features indicator lights (typically small LEDs above each slot) that show the charging status. Refer to the charger's specific light indications (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Charging time varies depending on the battery capacity and the power output of the USB source.
- Once fully charged, remove the batteries from the charger.
Battery Usage
These NiMH rechargeable batteries are suitable for a wide range of everyday applications, including:
- Wireless game controllers
- Remote controls
- Children's toys
- Flashlights
- Wireless mice and keyboards
- Clocks and other low-drain devices
The batteries offer excellent long-term performance, low self-discharge, and can be recharged up to 1200 times.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the charger and battery terminals. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the charger and batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Unused batteries maintain approximately 80% of their initial capacity after 3 years of storage.
- Battery Care: To maximize battery life, avoid completely draining them before recharging. NiMH batteries do not suffer from memory effect, so they can be recharged at any charge level.
Troubleshooting
- Batteries not charging:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the charger and the power source.
- Verify that the power source is active and providing power.
- Check that batteries are inserted with correct polarity (+/-).
- Confirm that the batteries are NiMH rechargeable type.
- Charger indicator lights not working:
- Ensure the charger is properly connected to a working power source.
- Check for any visible damage to the charger or cable.
- Batteries not holding charge:
- Batteries have a finite lifespan. If they have been recharged many times (up to 1200 cycles), they may be reaching the end of their useful life.
- Ensure batteries are stored correctly when not in use.
