3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device. The internal 600mAh (marked 800mAh) rechargeable -5C battery requires approximately 2-3 hours for a full charge.

1. Locate the Mini USB charging port (DC5V) on the side of the device (refer to Figure 2.2).
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Mini USB port on the radio.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
4. The charging indicator light (if present, typically red) will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.

Note: Ensure the input power is 5V 500mA for optimal charging.

3.2 Powering On/Off

4.3 MP3 Player Operation

The device supports MP3 playback from a TF (MicroSD) card or a USB flash drive (maximum 16GB).

1. Insert Storage: Insert a TF card into the TF card slot or a USB drive into the USB port (refer to Figure 2.2).
2. Select MP3 Mode: Press the M button until the display indicates MP3 mode (e.g., "USB" or "TF"). The device will automatically start playing music.
3. Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (►▮▮) to pause or resume playback.
4. Next/Previous Track: Use the Next (►►) and Previous (◀◀) buttons to skip tracks.
5. Direct Track Selection: Use the numeric keypad (0-9) to directly input the track number.
6. Repeat Function: Press the REP button to cycle through repeat modes (e.g., Repeat One, Repeat All).

4.4 AUX Input Mode

Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, computer) to the 3.5mm AUX input port using an audio cable (not included). Press the M button to switch to AUX mode. The device will then play audio from the connected external source.
