2. Safety Information

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The Ryobi RWTS18-0 is a bare tool and requires a Ryobi 18V ONE+ battery (sold separately).
- Ensure the scrubber is turned off.
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the tool handle.
- Slide the battery pack into the tool until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, press the release latches on the battery pack and pull it out.
4.2 Telescopic Pole Adjustment
Adjust the pole length to suit your cleaning task:
- Loosen the locking collar on the telescopic pole.
- Extend or retract the pole to the desired length (between 1m and 1.4m).
- Tighten the locking collar firmly to secure the pole in position.
4.3 Water/Detergent Connection
The scrubber can be connected to a standard garden hose for water supply.
- Connect your garden hose to the hose connection port on the scrubber. Ensure a tight fit to prevent leaks.
- If using detergent, ensure the detergent reservoir (if applicable, or external detergent system) is properly connected and filled according to its instructions.

4.4 Brush Head Attachment
The scrubber comes with a brush head. Ensure it is securely attached before use.
- Align the brush head with the drive shaft on the pivoting mechanism.
- Push and twist the brush head until it locks into place.
- Verify the brush head is secure by gently pulling on it.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn on the scrubber, press the power switch located on the handle. The brush head will begin to rotate.
- To turn off, press the power switch again.
5.2 Water/Detergent Control
- Once the garden hose is connected and water supply is on, use the water/detergent selector switch to choose between feeding water or spraying detergent.
- Ensure the correct setting is selected for your cleaning task.
5.3 Cleaning Techniques
- Apply light pressure to the surface being cleaned. The rotating brush and water/detergent flow are designed to do the work.
- Move the scrubber in a steady, overlapping motion to ensure even cleaning.
- For stubborn dirt, allow the brush to agitate the area for a slightly longer period.

5.4 Pivoting Head Adjustment
The innovative rotary scrubber head design includes a 6-position pivoting system.
- To adjust the angle, locate the pivot release button or lever near the brush head.
- Press the release and adjust the brush head to one of the six available positions.
- Release the button/lever to lock the head in place. This allows for cleaning at various angles, adapting to different surfaces and contours.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Scrubber
- After each use, disconnect the water hose and remove the battery.
- Rinse the brush head thoroughly with clean water to remove any detergent residue or debris.
- Wipe down the main body of the scrubber with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure all parts are dry before storage.
6.2 Storage
- Store the scrubber in a clean, dry place, out of reach of children.
- Remove the battery pack from the tool before storing for extended periods.
- Protect the tool from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6.3 Brush Head Replacement
Over time, the brush head may wear down and require replacement to maintain optimal cleaning performance.
- Ensure the tool is off and the battery is removed.
- Follow the instructions for detaching the worn brush head (usually by twisting and pulling).
- Attach a new, compatible Ryobi brush head as described in Section 4.4.
