Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Cybex Melio Carbon 3 stroller:

1. Unfolding the Stroller:

   Locate the folding mechanism, typically a latch or button on the side of the frame. Release the latch and gently pull the handlebar upwards until the frame clicks into its fully open position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged before use.

2. Attaching the Wheels:

   Insert the front and rear wheels into their designated slots on the stroller frame. Push firmly until you hear a click, indicating they are securely locked in place. Test each wheel by gently pulling on it to ensure it is attached properly.

3. Attaching the Bumper Bar:

   Align the bumper bar with the attachment points on the stroller seat. Push it into place until it clicks. Ensure it is securely fastened before placing your child in the stroller.

4. Seat Unit Adjustment:

   The seat unit can be positioned forward-facing or parent-facing. To reverse the seat, locate the release buttons on either side of the seat unit, press them, lift the seat, and reattach it in the desired direction until it clicks securely.

Operating the Stroller

Harness System: One-Pull Harness

The Melio Carbon 3 features a unique one-pull harness for quick and secure fastening. Place your child in the seat, bring the shoulder straps over their shoulders, and connect the buckle pieces. Pull the strap at the bottom of the harness to tighten it to a snug fit. To release, press the button on the buckle.

Recline Positions

The stroller seat offers multiple recline positions, including an ergonomic near-flat position suitable for naps. To adjust the recline, locate the recline mechanism on the back of the seat and adjust to your desired angle. Ensure the seat is securely locked in place after adjustment.

Brake System

The stroller is equipped with a foot-operated brake system. To engage the brake, press down firmly on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels. To release, lift the pedal upwards. Always engage the brake when the stroller is stationary.
