4.2 Expanding the Frame

To expand the frame, it is crucial to lock the side rails before pushing down the center base. If the center base is pushed down first, the side rails will not lock properly.

  1. Stand the folded bassinet upright. Identify the four side rails: two shorter sides and two longer sides.
  2. Locate the central handle at the bottom of the bassinet. This handle must be held in the "unlocked" position (usually by pulling it upwards) throughout the rail locking process.
  3. Starting with one of the shorter side rails, grasp the rail firmly and pull upwards until you hear an audible "click" indicating it has locked into place. Ensure the rail is straight and rigid.
  4. Repeat this process for the other shorter side rail.
  5. Next, repeat the same procedure for both of the longer side rails, pulling each upwards until it locks securely into place.
  6. Once all four side rails are locked, push down the central handle at the bottom of the bassinet until the base is fully extended and flat. This will lock the entire frame into its open position.

  • Music Box: Attach the music box arm to the designated slot on the bassinet frame. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  • Storage: Attach the storage organizer to the side of the bassinet using the provided clips or straps.
  • Blackout Cover: Drape the blackout cover over the bassinet, aligning the zippered openings as needed. This cover blocks 90% of light and offers anti-mosquito and breathable properties.
