3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Prepare Your System

3.3. Mount Radiator and Fans
- Attach the ROG AF 12S ARGB fans to the radiator using the provided long screws. Ensure the fan airflow direction is appropriate for your case's cooling strategy (intake or exhaust).
- Mount the assembled radiator and fans to the designated location in your PC case (e.g., top, front, or rear).

3.4. Install Pump Head
- Carefully place the pump head onto the CPU, aligning it with the mounting bracket.
- Secure the pump head using the retention screws, tightening them in a cross pattern until snug. Avoid over-tightening.
3.5. Connect Cables
- Connect the pump power cable to an available CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header on your motherboard.
- Connect the fan cables to the fan headers on your motherboard or to the included fan splitter cable, then to a motherboard header.
- Connect the USB cable from the pump head to an available internal USB 2.0 header on your motherboard. This is essential for Anime Matrix™ display and software control.
- Connect the ARGB cables from the fans and pump head to your motherboard's ARGB header (5V, 3-pin) or a dedicated RGB controller.
4. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the ROG RYUO III 360 ARGB operates automatically to cool your CPU. Further customization and monitoring can be done via ASUS software.
4.1. Software Installation (Armoury Crate)
Download and install the latest version of ASUS Armoury Crate software from the official ASUS support website. This software allows you to:
- Monitor CPU temperature and pump/fan speeds.
- Customize the Anime Matrix™ LED display with various animations, system stats, or custom images.
- Control the ARGB lighting effects of the fans and pump head.
