Introduction

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the bug zapper and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Placement: Choose a suitable location for the bug zapper. It can be placed on a flat surface or hung using the provided chain.
3. Hanging Installation (Optional): If hanging, attach the stainless steel chain to the designated points on the top of the zapper. Ensure the chain is securely mounted to a tree or wall to avoid accidental touching or hitting.
4. Power Connection: Locate the USB port on the right side of the bug zapper. Connect the provided USB cable to the port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Once connected to a power source, locate the power button on the right side of the device. Press the power button to turn on the bug zapper. The UV LED lights will illuminate.
2. Operation: The bug zapper will now attract flying insects using its special wavelength LED light. Insects drawn to the light will come into contact with the 3200V power grid and be electrocuted.
3. Optimal Performance: For best results, operate the bug zapper in darker environments, as the UV light will be more effective at attracting insects.
4. Power Off: To turn off the bug zapper, press the power button again.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your bug zapper. Always unplug the device before cleaning.

1. Empty Collection Tray: The bottom of the PALONE bug zapper has a removable tray where dead insects are collected. Slide out the collection tray and dispose of the contents.
2. Clean Tray: Rinse the collection tray with water and mild soap. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
3. Clean Grid and Bulbs: The outer fence is also removable. Open the fence first, then use a tissue or the provided cleaning brush to gently clean the grid and bulbs. This will allow any remaining dead insect bodies to drop into the bottom tray.
4. Reassemble: Once all components are clean and dry, put them back together securely.
