- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.

3. Setup and First Use
Before using your Multilaser Rice Cooker for the first time, please follow these steps:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories.
- Clean: Wash the inner pot, glass lid, steam tray, measuring cup, and rice paddle in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not immerse the rice cooker base in water.
- Wipe Base: Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Cooking Rice
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One full cup of uncooked rice typically yields about two cups of cooked rice.
- Rinse Rice: Rinse the rice in a separate bowl until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
- Add to Pot: Place the rinsed rice into the non-stick inner pot.
- Add Water: Add the appropriate amount of water. A general ratio is 1:1.5 (1 cup rice to 1.5 cups water), but this can vary based on rice type and personal preference. Refer to the water level markings inside the inner pot if available.
- Place Pot: Ensure the exterior of the inner pot is dry, then place it into the rice cooker base.
- Close Lid: Place the glass lid securely on the rice cooker.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The 'Warm' indicator light will illuminate.
- Start Cooking: Press the 'Cook' switch down. The 'Cook' indicator light will illuminate, indicating that cooking has started.
- Automatic Shut-off: Once the rice is cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to 'Warm' mode, and the 'Warm' indicator light will illuminate.
- Resting Period: For best results, allow the rice to rest on 'Warm' for 10-15 minutes before serving. This allows the steam to distribute evenly.
- Serve: Use the provided rice paddle to fluff and serve the rice. Avoid using metal utensils to protect the non-stick coating.
4.2. Steaming Food
The included steam tray allows for steaming vegetables, fish, or other foods.
- Add Water: Pour approximately 1-2 cups of water into the inner pot. Ensure the water level is below the steam tray.
- Prepare Food: Place the food to be steamed (e.g., chopped vegetables, fish fillets) onto the steam tray.
- Assemble: Place the inner pot with water into the rice cooker base, then place the steam tray on top of the inner pot.
- Close Lid: Cover with the glass lid.
- Start Steaming: Plug in the cooker and press the 'Cook' switch down.
- Monitor: Steam until food reaches desired tenderness. Cooking times will vary depending on the type and quantity of food.
- Serve: Carefully remove the lid (steam will be hot) and remove the steamed food.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your rice cooker.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wash Inner Pot and Accessories: Remove the inner pot, glass lid, steam tray, measuring cup, and rice paddle. Wash them in warm, soapy water using a soft sponge or cloth. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These parts are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the non-stick coating.
- Clean Cooker Base: Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or metal utensils on any part of the rice cooker, especially the non-stick inner pot, as this can damage the surface.
- Storage: Store the cleaned and dried rice cooker in a cool, dry place.
6. Troubleshooting
