Setup

  1. Charging the Device:

    Before first use, charge the device for 4 hours. Subsequent charges typically take 3-4 hours. The LED charge indicator lights will flash when charging is needed. The magnetic charger prevents overcharging.

  2. Attaching a Tip:

    Insert the desired Waterpik tip into the center of the handle until it clicks into place. To remove, press the tip eject button and pull the tip out.

  3. Filling the Reservoir:

    Open the flip-top lid on the reservoir and fill with warm water. Close the lid firmly.

Operating Instructions

  1. First Use (Priming): If using for the first time, point the tip into a sink, turn the unit on, and set to High pressure until water flows.
  2. Positioning: Lean over a sink and place the tip in your mouth. Close your lips enough to prevent splashing, but allow water to flow from your mouth into the sink.
  3. Starting the Device: Press the power button to turn the unit on. Select your desired pressure setting (Low or High) using the pressure control button.
  4. Flossing Technique: Direct the water stream at a 90-degree angle to your gumline. Start with the back teeth and work your way to the front. Glide the tip along the gumline and pause briefly between teeth. Use the 360° tip rotation to reach all areas.
  5. Completion: Continue until the reservoir is empty or you have cleaned all areas of your mouth. Turn off the device by pressing the power button.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Device: After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir. Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, damp cloth. The device is shower safe, allowing for easy rinsing.
  • Cleaning Tips: Rinse tips under running water after each use. For deeper cleaning, tips can be soaked in a solution of 2 parts water to 1 part white vinegar for 5-7 minutes. Rinse thoroughly afterward.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place. Ensure the reservoir is empty before storing for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Device does not turn on. Ensure the device is fully charged. Check the charging cable connection.
Weak water pressure. Check if the reservoir is sufficiently filled. Ensure the tip is securely attached. Clean the tip for any blockages.
Water leaks from the device. Ensure the reservoir lid is closed firmly. Check if the tip is properly seated.
LED charge indicator not working. Verify the charger is connected correctly and the power source is active. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
