This digital kitchen scale is designed for precise measurement of ingredients for cooking and baking, and can also be used for weighing small packages. It features a high-precision strain gauge sensor system, a clear LCD display, and a durable stainless steel construction.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.

  2. Battery Installation: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the two included AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover securely.

  3. Placement: Place the scale on a flat, stable, and level surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces.

  4. Bowl Placement: Place the stainless steel bowl onto the scale platform before turning it on, if you intend to use it for weighing.

Basic Weighing

  1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the scale. The LCD display will show "8888" and then "0.0" or "0g".

  2. Select Unit: Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available units: oz, lb:oz, g, ml. Select your desired unit before weighing.

  3. Weighing Item: Place the item(s) directly onto the scale platform or into the bowl. The weight will be displayed on the LCD.

  4. Power Off: Press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn off the scale. The scale will also automatically power off after 90 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively in the same container.

  1. Place an empty container (e.g., the stainless steel bowl) on the scale platform.

  2. Press the Z/T (Zero/Tare) button. The display will reset to "0.0" or "0g", indicating the container's weight has been tared.

  3. Add your first ingredient to the container. The display will show the weight of only the ingredient.

  4. To add another ingredient, press the Z/T button again to tare the current weight to zero, then add the next ingredient.

Timer Function

The scale includes an alarm timer function.

  1. Press the T-SET button to activate the timer setting mode. The time display will flash.

  2. Use the UNIT button to decrease the time and the Z/T button to increase the time. Set the desired countdown time.

  3. Press T-SET again to start the countdown. The timer will beep when it reaches zero.

  4. To stop the alarm, press any button.

Room Temperature Display

The scale also displays the ambient room temperature on the LCD screen, typically located near the weight display.
