4. Setup

4.1 Placement

Position the fire pit on a hard, level, non-combustible surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials. The fire pit is designed for outdoor use only.

4.2 Gas Connection (Natural Gas)

1. Ensure the main gas supply valve is in the OFF position.
2. Connect the natural gas hose from the fire pit to your outdoor natural gas supply line. Use appropriate tools and ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
3. It is recommended to have a qualified professional perform the gas connection to ensure safety and compliance with local codes.
4. Once connected, slowly turn on the main gas supply valve and check for any gas leaks using a soapy water solution. Bubbles indicate a leak.

4.3 Lava Rock Placement

Carefully place the provided lava rocks into the burner pan. Distribute them evenly, ensuring they do not block the igniter or burner holes. Do not overfill the burner pan.

4.4 Glass Windscreen Assembly

Assemble the tempered glass windscreen according to the separate instructions provided with the windscreen. Place it securely around the burner area on the fire pit surface.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Ignition

1. Ensure the gas supply is turned ON.
2. Locate the control panel on the side of the fire pit.
3. Push and turn the control knob to the 'LOW' position.
4. Immediately press and hold the igniter button until the burner ignites. You may need to hold the igniter for a few seconds to allow gas to reach the burner.
5. Once ignited, continue to hold the control knob for 10-15 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up and engage the safety shut-off.
6. Release the control knob. If the flame extinguishes, repeat the ignition process.

5.2 Flame Adjustment

Once the burner is lit, you can adjust the flame height by rotating the control knob between the 'LOW' and 'HIGH' settings. Adjust to your desired heat output and visual effect.

5.3 Shut-Off Procedure

1. Turn the control knob to the 'OFF' position.
2. Ensure the flames are completely extinguished.
3. Turn off the main gas supply valve to the fire pit.
4. Allow the fire pit to cool down completely before covering or performing any maintenance.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Regularly inspect the fire pit for any debris or blockages in the burner area.
• Clean the exterior concrete surface with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• The lava rocks can be rinsed with water if they become dirty. Ensure they are completely dry before reuse.

6.2 Protection & Storage
