Setup Guide

1. Connecting the Device

  1. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC port on the back of the BOXY TV Box and then plug it into a power outlet.
  2. HDMI Connection: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the back of the BOXY TV Box and the other end to an available HDMI input on your television or display. Ensure your TV's HDMI port is HDMI 2.0 or higher capable for optimal 4K HDR performance.
  3. Network Connection (Optional):
    • Wired: For a stable connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the back of the BOXY TV Box.
    • Wireless: If using Wi-Fi, you will configure this during the initial setup process on screen.
  4. Audio Connection (Optional):
    • S/PDIF: For digital audio output, connect an optical cable to the S/PDIF port.
    • A/V: For analog audio/video output, use the A/V port.
  5. USB Devices (Optional): Connect USB storage devices (flash drives, HDDs, SSDs) to the USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 ports for media playback or data transfer.

2. Initial Power On and Setup Wizard

  1. Turn on your television and select the correct HDMI input source.
  2. The BOXY TV Box will power on automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions for the initial setup.
  3. Remote Control Pairing: The Bluetooth remote control should pair automatically. If not, follow the on-screen prompts or refer to the remote control section for manual pairing instructions.
  4. Language Selection: Choose your preferred language.
  5. Network Configuration: Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password, or confirm the wired Ethernet connection.
  6. Google Account Login: Sign in with your Google account to access Google Play Store, YouTube, and other Google services.
  7. App Installation: The setup wizard may prompt you to install essential apps.
  8. Complete the remaining steps of the setup wizard.
