With each flush, the stick will fall into the collection container within the cistern and begin to dissolve slowly, releasing its active ingredients.
5. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the Geberit Duofresh Sticks operate automatically with each toilet flush. The stick, having fallen into the cistern's collection container, will gradually dissolve, releasing its cleaning and freshening agents into the flush water. This results in a blue-tinted, freshly scented water that cleanses the toilet bowl.
- Each stick is designed to last for approximately 50 flushes.
- The blue color of the water indicates the stick is active and working.
- When the blue color fades or disappears, it is an indication that the stick has fully dissolved and needs replacement.
6. Maintenance
The Geberit Duofresh Sticks themselves require no maintenance other than replacement when depleted. They actively contribute to the maintenance of your toilet by:
- Protecting the toilet ceramic from limescale deposits.
- Preventing the buildup of urine stone.
- Ensuring a consistently fresh fragrance.
Regularly check the color of the flush water. When the blue tint is no longer visible, it is time to replace the stick following the "Setup and Installation" instructions.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Blue Water or Fragrance After Installation:
- Ensure the stick was correctly inserted into the Geberit DuoFresh embroidery holder.
- Verify that the stick has fallen into the collection container within the cistern.
- Allow a few flushes for the stick to begin dissolving and for the blue color to become noticeable.
- Check if the stick is depleted and requires replacement.
- Stick Not Dissolving Properly:
- Ensure the water-soluble film was not accidentally removed or damaged during insertion.
- Confirm the stick is in direct contact with the water flow within the cistern's collection container.
