4. Setup
The Webasto Go charger offers flexible setup options for both Level 1 and Level 2 charging.
4.1. Level 1 Charging (120V)
- Ensure the NEMA 5-15 grid plug assembly is securely attached to the Webasto Go control unit.
- Plug the NEMA 5-15 plug into a standard 120V NEMA 5-15R household outlet.
- The charger will perform a self-check, indicated by its status lights.
4.2. Level 2 Charging (240V)
- Ensure the NEMA 14-50 grid plug assembly is securely attached to the Webasto Go control unit.
- Plug the NEMA 14-50 plug into a dedicated 240V NEMA 14-50R receptacle. Note: Installation of a NEMA 14-50R receptacle typically requires a qualified electrician.
- The charger will perform a self-check, indicated by its status lights.
The intelligent grid plug assemblies automatically detect the connected power source and adjust charging parameters accordingly.

5. Operating Instructions
The Webasto Go is designed for simple plug-and-play operation.
- Connect to Power: Follow the setup instructions in Section 4 to connect the Webasto Go charger to the appropriate power outlet (120V or 240V).
- Connect to Vehicle: Open your electric vehicle's charging port. Insert the J1772 connector from the Webasto Go into your vehicle's charging port. For Tesla vehicles, use the appropriate J1772 to Tesla adapter (sold separately).
- Initiate Charging: The charger will automatically begin charging your vehicle. The status indicator lights on the Webasto Go unit will show the charging status.
- Monitor Charging: You can monitor your vehicle's charging status through its onboard display or mobile application.
- End Charging: To stop charging, first disconnect the J1772 connector from your vehicle, then unplug the charger from the wall outlet.
The Webasto Go can deliver up to 7.7kW of power, providing approximately 30 miles of range per hour charged, depending on your vehicle's efficiency.

6. Maintenance
