2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two people and basic tools such as a screwdriver. Follow these steps carefully:

4.1. Prepare the Site

Choose a flat, level, and stable surface for the storage box. Ensure adequate space around the box for assembly and future access.

4.2. Assemble the Floor and Side Panels

1. Place the floor panel on the prepared surface.
2. Attach the side panels to the floor panel, ensuring they slot securely into the designated grooves.
3. Secure the side panels using the provided screws and fasteners.

4.3. Install the Back Panels

1. Slide the back panels into the grooves of the side panels.
2. Ensure a tight fit and secure with screws as indicated in the assembly diagram.

4.4. Attach the Front Doors

1. Hinge the front doors to the main structure. Ensure the hinges are correctly aligned and secured.
2. Test the door movement to ensure smooth opening and closing.

4.5. Assemble the Lid and Support Mechanism

1. Attach the lid panels to the top of the structure using the provided hinges.
2. Install the gas struts (lid support mechanism) as per the diagram. These assist in opening and holding the lid open.
3. Ensure the lid opens and closes smoothly and stays open when lifted.

4.6. Install the Locking Latch

1. Attach the locking latch mechanism to the front doors as shown in the instructions.
2. Test the latch to ensure it secures both doors effectively. A padlock (not included) can be added for enhanced security.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Opening and Closing the Lid

To open the lid, gently lift it upwards. The gas struts will assist in the lifting motion and hold the lid in an open position. To close, pull the lid down firmly until it latches securely.

5.2. Opening and Closing the Doors

To open the front doors, unlatch the central locking mechanism and pull the handles outwards. To close, push the doors shut and engage the central latch. For added security, a padlock can be inserted into the latch mechanism.

5.3. Using for Waste Bins

The storage box is designed to accommodate multiple waste bins. Chains are provided to attach to the bin lids, allowing them to open automatically with the storage box lid for convenient access.

5.4. Internal Storage

The spacious interior can store various items. An optional shelf can be installed for better organization (shelf may be sold separately or included depending on the specific model variant).

Lid does not close properly:

Check for obstructions inside the box or along the lid's closing path. Ensure the box is on a level surface, as uneven ground can cause misalignment.

Doors do not align or close securely:

Verify that the box is assembled on a level surface. Recheck hinge connections and ensure all screws are tightened. Adjust the position of the latch mechanism if possible.

Water ingress:

Ensure the lid and doors are fully closed and latched. Check for any gaps or damage to the panels. While the box is waterproof, extreme weather conditions or improper closure can lead to minor leaks.

Gas struts not holding lid open:

Inspect the gas struts for damage or wear. Ensure they are correctly installed according to the assembly instructions. If damaged, contact customer support for replacement parts.
