Installation Guide

Follow these steps for proper installation of your VADANIA K53 drawer slides. For a visual guide, please refer to the installation video below.

1. Prepare the Cabinet and Slides

  • Measure Clearance: Ensure a space of 0.75" ± 0.01" (19mm ± 0.5mm) between the drawer and the cabinet for proper slide fit.
  • Mark Installation Line: Measure a specific height and draw a horizontal line to level the slide track. A wooden block can be used for assistance.
  • Separate Slides: Distinguish between the left and right slides. Before mounting, separate the inner slide from the main body by pressing the small lever on the back of the slide track.

2. Mount the Cabinet Slides

  • Align the outer slide (the part that remains in the cabinet) with your marked horizontal line.
  • Mount at least two screws into the permanent mounting holes. Ensure the slide is level and secure.
  • Repeat for the other side of the cabinet.

3. Mount the Drawer Slides

  • Attach the inner slides (the detached parts) to the sides of your drawer.
  • Mount the screws into the permanent mounting holes. Fasten the inner slides on both sides to the drawer.
  • Before inserting the drawer, ensure the ball bearing piece of the sub-slide is pushed to the frontend. Failure to do so can cause the slides to get stuck or damage the ball bearing or soft close device.

Operating Instructions

The VADANIA K53 drawer slides are designed for effortless operation:

  • Opening the Drawer: Pull the drawer handle to open. The full extension feature allows the drawer to slide out completely, providing full access to its contents.
  • Closing the Drawer: Gently push the drawer until the soft-close mechanism engages. The hydraulic buffer will then smoothly and silently pull the drawer to a fully closed position. Avoid forcing the drawer shut, as the soft-close mechanism is designed to handle the final closing action.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your VADANIA K53 drawer slides, follow these simple maintenance tips:

  • Cleaning: Periodically wipe the slide tracks with a clean, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
  • Lubrication: If the slides begin to feel stiff or noisy over time, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the ball bearings and tracks. Do not use oil-based lubricants, as they can attract dust and grime.
  • Inspection: Regularly check all mounting screws to ensure they are tight. Loose screws can affect the slide's performance and stability.
  • Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 265 lbs (120 kg) to prevent damage to the slides and ensure smooth operation.
