4. Device Components
Familiarize yourself with the main parts of your blood pressure monitor:
- Display Screen: Shows blood pressure readings (systolic, diastolic), pulse rate, time, and various indicators.

5. Setup
5.1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the monitor.
- Insert four (4) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2. Cuff Attachment
- Insert the air plug of the cuff into the air jack on the side of the monitor.
- Ensure the connection is secure.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Before Measurement
- Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, exercising, or bathing for 30 minutes before measurement.
- Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Sit in a comfortable position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
- Place your arm on a flat surface so the cuff is at heart level.
- Wrap the cuff firmly around your bare upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm above the elbow. Ensure the air tube is positioned centrally on the inside of your arm.
6.2. Taking a Measurement
- Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will begin to inflate.
- The Rapid Tech Comfort Experience technology will measure your blood pressure during the inflation phase. Remain still and silent during this process.
- Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.
- Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the device, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.

6.3. Understanding Results
- Blood Pressure Level Indicator: The device includes an indicator to help you interpret your blood pressure readings according to standard classifications. Refer to the manual's full details for specific ranges.
- Irregular Heartbeat Detector: If an irregular heartbeat is detected during the measurement, a specific symbol will appear on the display. If this symbol appears frequently, consult your physician.
6.4. Memory Function
The monitor stores up to 60 measurements for two users. To access stored readings:
- With the device off, press the MEM button.
- The most recent measurement will be displayed first.
- Press the MEM button repeatedly to scroll through older readings.
