Setup
Initial Charging
- Connect the supplied USB-A to USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included).
- Charge the speaker until the battery indicator shows a full charge. A full charge takes approximately 4.5 hours.
The Middleton speaker provides over 20 hours of portable playtime on a single charge.
Attaching the Carry Strap
The detachable carry strap can be attached to the designated loops on the speaker for easier portability.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the multi-directional control knob until the speaker activates.
- To power off, press and hold the multi-directional control knob until the speaker deactivates.

Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button until the Bluetooth indicator light begins to flash.
- On your audio device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), open the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "Middleton" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will turn solid.
Audio Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the multi-directional control knob once.
- Skip Track: Push the multi-directional control knob right for next track, left for previous track.
- Volume Control: Push the multi-directional control knob up to increase volume, down to decrease volume.
- Bass/Treble Adjustment: Use the dedicated bass and treble controls on the top panel to fine-tune your sound.
Stack Mode
Connect multiple Middleton speakers to create a larger soundstage using Stack Mode.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water and Dust Resistance: The Middleton has an IP67 rating, meaning it is dust-tight and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Ensure all ports are securely closed before exposure to water.
