The Atlanta 2608/6 is a digital alarm clock featuring a large, bright LED display. It offers multiple functions including time, date, and temperature display, three independent alarms, and an automatic dimming feature for night-time use.

Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Atlanta 2608/6 Digital Alarm Clock.

Package Contents

Power Connection

  1. Connect the USB cable to the power adapter.
  2. Plug the small end of the USB cable into the power input port on the back of the alarm clock (refer to Figure 3).
  3. Plug the power adapter into a standard 230V wall outlet. The display will light up.

Battery Backup (Optional)

To prevent loss of programmed settings during a power outage, you can install backup batteries.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the alarm clock (refer to Figure 3).
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover.

Note: The batteries only serve as a backup for settings and do not power the display. The clock must be connected to the main power supply for the display to be active.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Time

  1. Press and hold the TIME button until the hour digits start flashing.
  2. Press the HOUR button to adjust the hour.
  3. Press the MIN button to adjust the minutes.
  4. Press the TIME button again to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Displaying Date and Temperature

The alarm clock can display the time, date, or temperature. These can be switched manually or set to alternate automatically.

Setting Alarms (Up to 3)

The Atlanta 2608/6 allows you to set up to three separate alarms.

  1. Press the ALARM button once to enter Alarm 1 setting mode. The display will show "A1" and the alarm time will flash.
  2. Press the HOUR button to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press the MIN button to adjust the alarm minutes.
  4. Press the ALARM button again to confirm Alarm 1 and move to Alarm 2 setting mode ("A2").
  5. Repeat steps 2-3 for Alarm 2 and Alarm 3.
  6. After setting Alarm 3, press ALARM again to exit alarm setting mode.
  7. To activate/deactivate an alarm, briefly press the ALARM button when not in setting mode. An indicator (e.g., a small dot or icon) will appear on the display next to the active alarm number.

Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5 minutes.

To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button (e.g., HOUR, MIN, ALARM) or let it ring for its full duration.

Automatic Night Dimming

The display brightness automatically reduces between 8:00 PM (20:00) and 7:00 AM (07:00) for comfortable viewing in low light conditions. This feature is enabled by default.

To disable or enable this function, refer to the specific instructions for brightness settings (not detailed in source, assume a long press or specific button combination might activate this).

Troubleshooting
