4. Installation Guide
This section provides instructions for installing your EPLO DP7 Smart Toilet. Professional installation is recommended.
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Rough-in Measurement: Ensure your bathroom has a standard 12-inch (305mm) rough-in.
- Water Supply: The toilet requires a 1/2-inch accessory connection type. Confirm your water supply line is compatible.
- Electrical Outlet: A dedicated 120V GFCI outlet is required within 3 feet of the toilet's installation location.
- Water Pressure: Minimum water pressure of 35 PSI is necessary for proper flushing and bidet operation.
4.2 Installation Steps
- Prepare the Area: Turn off the water supply to the existing toilet and remove it. Clean the flange area thoroughly.
- Position the Sealing Flange and Wax Ring: Place the provided sealing flange and wax ring over the drain opening.
- Set the Toilet: Carefully lower the EPLO DP7 toilet onto the flange, aligning it with the bolts. Due to its weight (approximately 107.8 lbs), this may require two people.
- Secure the Toilet: Use the mounting accessory kit to firmly secure the toilet to the floor.
- Connect Water Supply: Connect the 1/2-inch water supply line to the T-valve and then to the toilet's water inlet. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Connect Power: Plug the toilet's power cord into the dedicated 120V GFCI outlet.
- Test Functions: Turn on the water supply and power. Allow the toilet to fill and perform initial self-tests. Test all flushing and bidet functions.

6.3 Filter Maintenance
Periodically check the water inlet filter for any debris or mineral buildup. If clogged, carefully remove and clean it under running water. Reinstall securely.
6.4 Long-Term Storage
If the toilet will not be used for an extended period, turn off the water supply and unplug the unit. Drain any remaining water from the toilet bowl and bidet system to prevent freezing or stagnation.
7. Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions.

- Power supply: Ensure the toilet is properly plugged into a working GFCI outlet. - Bidet Not Functioning:
- Check water supply: Ensure water is flowing to the toilet.
- Check power: Verify the toilet is powered on.
- Nozzle obstruction: Inspect the nozzle for any blockages. - Lid Not Opening/Closing Automatically:

- Check power: Ensure the toilet is receiving power.
- Settings: Verify that the heated seat and dryer functions are enabled and set to the desired temperature/speed via the remote control. - LED Display Not Showing Temperature:
