Setup and Assembly

Assembly typically requires two adults. Please follow the steps carefully. A Phillips head screwdriver is required. A power drill with adjustable torque may be used with caution to avoid stripping screws.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the Workspace: Clear a spacious, flat, and clean area for assembly. Lay out all components and hardware.
2. Assemble the Base Frame: Attach the bottom panel to the side panels using the provided screws. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Install Back Panels: Slide the back panels into the designated grooves on the side and bottom panels. Secure them with screws.
4. Attach Top Panel: Secure the top panel to the side panels and back panels.
5. Insert Shelf Pins: Place the shelf pins into the desired height adjustment holes on the interior side panels.
6. Install Shelves: Carefully place the adjustable shelves onto the shelf pins. Ensure they are level and stable.

7. Attach Door Hinges: Secure the hinges to the doors and the cabinet frame according to the instructions.
8. Mount Doors: Carefully attach the doors to the hinges. Adjust as necessary for proper alignment and smooth opening/closing. The cabinet features acrylic glass doors on the upper section and steel doors on the lower section.

9. Install Handles and Locks: Attach the door handles and install the locking mechanisms. Test the locks with the provided keys.

10. Secure to Wall: For stability and safety, especially in areas prone to earthquakes or with active children, use the included wall anchoring kit to secure the cabinet to a wall.

Operating Instructions

Locking and Unlocking Doors

The cabinet features two independent locking systems, one for the upper acrylic glass doors and one for the lower steel doors. Insert the key into the lock and turn clockwise to lock, counter-clockwise to unlock. Ensure the doors are fully closed before locking.

Adjusting Shelves

The shelves are adjustable to accommodate items of various heights. To adjust a shelf:

1. Empty the shelf completely.
2. Carefully lift the shelf and remove the four shelf pins from their current positions.
3. Reinsert the shelf pins into the desired height adjustment holes on the side panels, ensuring they are at the same level.
4. Place the shelf back onto the pins, ensuring it is stable before placing items on it.

Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your Letaya storage cabinet, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Wipe the cabinet surfaces with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the powder-coated finish and acrylic glass.
• Acrylic Glass Care: Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth and a plastic-safe cleaner for the acrylic glass doors to prevent scratches.
• Lock Maintenance: If keys become difficult to insert or turn, apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the lock mechanism.
