Important: This cover is NOT compatible with Stepside models. Ensure your truck has a 5'2" (61.7 inch) bed length before proceeding with installation.

2. Safety Information

4. Installation Guide

Installation typically takes less than 30 minutes and requires no drilling. Follow these steps carefully.

4.1 Pre-Installation

Before installing the tonneau cover, ensure your truck bed is clean and free of debris. Any existing bed side rails, cargo racks, tool boxes, or headache racks must be removed to ensure proper fitment and function of the tonneau cover.

4.2 Installing Side Rails

  1. Position the side rails along both sides of the truck bed, ensuring they sit flush and even with the bed rails.
  2. Loosen the clamp thumb screws and insert the clamps into the rail slots.
  3. Install all clamps before fully tightening. Once properly aligned, tighten securely.

Note: If the installation hole touches the clamp, please move the clamp so that they cannot come into contact with each other.

4.3 Placing and Securing the Cover

  1. Place the rolled-up tonneau cover at the front of the truck bed (bulkhead side).
  2. Align the cover with the bulkhead and secure both sides evenly using the integrated front clamps.
  3. Unroll the cover towards the tailgate, ensuring it is centered.
  4. Press firmly along the Velcro strips on both sides to seal the cover tightly to the side rails.
  5. At the tailgate end, press down on the automatic latching mechanism to lock the cover in place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Opening the Tonneau Cover

  1. To unlock the cover, simply pull the yellow cord located near the tailgate. This will release the automatic latching mechanism.
  2. Once unlocked, begin rolling the cover towards the cab of the truck.
  3. Secure the rolled-up cover using the integrated straps near the cab to prevent it from unrolling during transit.

5.2 Closing the Tonneau Cover

  1. Release the securing straps near the cab.
  2. Unroll the cover evenly towards the tailgate.
  3. Ensure the cover is properly aligned with the side rails and press down firmly along the Velcro strips.
  4. At the tailgate, press down on the cover until the automatic latching mechanism engages, securing the cover.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your tonneau cover.

  • Cleaning: Wash the cover regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that can damage the vinyl material.
  • Vinyl Care: Periodically apply a UV protectant specifically designed for vinyl to prevent fading and cracking.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically inspect all clamps and hardware for tightness. Tighten as necessary to ensure the cover remains securely attached.
  • Seals: Check the weather seals along the rails and tailgate for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary to maintain weather protection.
