4.2 Automatic Operation
The solar lights are designed to automatically detect ambient light conditions:
- During daylight hours, the solar panel absorbs sunlight and converts it into electrical energy, storing it in the internal battery. The light will remain off.
- At night or in dark conditions, the light will automatically switch from energy storage mode to illumination mode, turning on at your selected brightness setting.
5. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your LEREKAM Solar Spot Lights, consider the following maintenance tips:
- Clean Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, and debris. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and efficient charging.
- Positioning: Periodically check the position of the solar panel to ensure it receives direct sunlight for the longest possible duration each day. Adjust as needed, especially with seasonal changes.
- Weather Resistance: The lights are IP65 waterproof and designed to withstand various weather conditions, including rain, snow, frost, and heat (operating temperature range from -20℃ to 50℃). However, extreme weather events may temporarily affect performance.
- Battery Life: The internal batteries are designed for long-term use. If you notice a significant decrease in illumination time, ensure the lights are receiving adequate sunlight or consider using the USB charging option.
6. Troubleshooting
If your LEREKAM Solar Spot Lights are not functioning as expected, try the following:
- Light does not turn on at night:
- Ensure the power button is pressed to an ON mode.
- Verify the solar panel is receiving sufficient direct sunlight during the day. Relocate the light if necessary.
- Check for any obstructions (e.g., leaves, dirt) on the solar panel and clean it.
- Perform an initial USB charge to ensure the battery has enough power.
- Light duration is short:
- The solar panel may not be receiving enough sunlight for a full charge. Ensure optimal placement.
- The selected brightness mode might be too high for the available charge. Try a lower brightness mode.
- Consider USB charging to fully replenish the battery.
- Light flickers or is dim:
- The battery charge may be low. Allow for more solar charging time or use USB charging.
- Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions.
