Setup and Installation

Unpacking:

Placement:

• Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight.
• Ensure adequate ventilation by leaving at least 20 cm of space above the oven, 10 cm at the rear, and 5 cm on each side.

Operating Instructions

The Candy Idea CMG20SMW features two mechanical rotary knobs for controlling power level and cooking time/defrost weight.

1. Microwave Cooking:

1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
2. Close the oven door securely.
3. Select Power Level: Turn the upper knob to choose one of the 5 available power levels (Low, Med.Low, Med, Med.High, High).
4. Set Cooking Time: Turn the lower knob to set the desired cooking time, up to 35 minutes.
5. The oven will start automatically. A signal will sound when the cooking time is complete.

2. Grill Function:

The grill function is suitable for browning and crisping food.

1. Place food on the grill rack (if provided) or a heat-resistant dish.
2. Close the oven door securely.
3. Select Grill Function: Turn the upper knob to the grill symbol.
4. Set Cooking Time: Turn the lower knob to set the desired grilling time.

3. Defrost Program:

The automatic defrost program thaws food based on its weight.

1. Place the frozen food on the glass turntable.
2. Close the oven door securely.
3. Select Defrost Function: Turn the upper knob to the defrost symbol (snowflake).
4. Set Defrost Weight: Turn the lower knob to select the weight of the food (e.g., 0.2kg, 0.4kg, 0.6kg, 0.8kg, 1.0kg).
5. The oven will automatically calculate the defrosting time. A signal will sound when defrosting is complete.

4. Timer Function:

The lower knob also functions as a timer for general use or to set cooking duration.

1. Turn the lower knob to the desired time.
2. The timer will count down and sound a signal when it reaches zero.
