Setup
1. Setting the Time
- Pull the crown out to position 2 (the outermost position). The second hand will stop.
- Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands clockwise until the desired time is set. Ensure AM/PM is correctly observed if your watch has a 24-hour indicator or date changes at midnight.
- Push the crown back into position 0 (normal operating position) to start the watch.
2. Setting the Date
- Pull the crown out to position 1 (the first click).
- Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on the model) until the correct date appears in the date window. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement.
- Push the crown back into position 0.
3. Adjusting the Strap
The silicone strap features a standard buckle clasp. Adjust the strap by inserting the pin into the desired hole for a comfortable and secure fit. Ensure the watch is not too tight or too loose on your wrist.
Operating the Chronograph
Your Nautica NST watch is equipped with a chronograph function for measuring elapsed time.
- Start: Press Pusher A (top pusher) to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
- Stop: Press Pusher A again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the chronograph hands.
- Reset: After stopping the chronograph, press Pusher B (bottom pusher) to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.
- Split Time (if applicable): Some chronographs allow for split time measurement. Refer to specific movement instructions if your model supports this.
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating makes it suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for scuba diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Regularly clean your watch with a soft, damp cloth. For the silicone strap, mild soap and water can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the watch finish or strap.
Battery Replacement
Your watch is powered by a quartz battery. When the battery runs low, the watch may stop or the second hand may jump in irregular intervals (End-of-Life indicator). Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The original gift box can be used for storage.

Troubleshooting
- Watch not running:
Check if the crown is fully pushed in to position 0. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement. Consult a professional watch technician.
- Chronograph hands not resetting to zero:
This may require a chronograph reset procedure. Pull the crown out to position 2. Press Pusher A to advance the chronograph second hand, and Pusher B to advance the chronograph minute hand (or vice versa, depending on the movement) until they align to zero. Push the crown back in to position 0.
- Date not changing correctly:
Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM cycle. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM. If the issue persists, consult a service center.
- Water inside the watch:
If you notice condensation or water droplets inside the watch, immediately take it to a qualified watch repair center. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself, as this will void the warranty and can cause further damage.
