4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Unit
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
4.2 Cleaning the Stylus
- Use a soft brush to gently clean the stylus, brushing from back to front.
- Regular cleaning helps maintain sound quality and prolong stylus life.
4.3 Stylus Replacement
The stylus is a consumable part and will wear out over time. Replace the stylus when you notice a decrease in sound quality. Two replacement needles are included with your purchase.
5. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the unit and a working power outlet.
- No Sound: Check the volume knob. Ensure the correct function mode (Vinyl, Bluetooth Input, or Vinyl Stream) is selected. If using external speakers, ensure they are powered on and properly paired.
- Skipping Records: Ensure the record player is on a stable, level surface. Clean the record and stylus. The Vinyl Safe Technology helps prevent skipping, but extreme vibrations can still affect playback.
- Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Ensure the unit is in the correct Bluetooth mode (input or output). Turn off and restart Bluetooth on both the Re-Spin and your external device/speaker. Make sure no other devices are actively connected.
- Poor Sound Quality: Clean the record and stylus. Ensure the record is spinning at the correct speed. For Bluetooth connections, ensure the devices are within range.
