Setup and Assembly Instructions

Estimated assembly time is approximately 60 minutes with one person. Having an additional person for lifting and positioning larger components is recommended. All necessary tools are included. Do not use power tools.

Step-by-Step Assembly:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a rug or blanket) to prevent scratches. Refer to the parts list in your separate assembly guide to identify each piece.
2. Assemble the Bed Frame: Begin by connecting the main bed frame components according to the detailed diagrams in your assembly guide. Ensure all bolts are finger-tightened initially.
3. Attach the Desk: Secure the desk frame and tabletop to the main bed structure. Ensure it is level and stable.
4. Install the Wardrobe: Assemble the wardrobe cabinet and integrate it into the bed frame. Install the hanging rod and drawer as per instructions.
5. Construct the Storage Staircase: Assemble the staircase, ensuring each step's storage compartment or drawer slides smoothly. Attach the staircase securely to the bed frame.
6. Install Bed Slats: Place the wooden slats across the bed frame to support the mattress. Ensure they are evenly spaced and secured if required.
7. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, systematically tighten all bolts and screws using the provided tools. Do not overtighten.
8. Safety Check: Verify that all connections are secure and the bed is stable before use.

Operating Instructions

Using the Loft Bed:

• Place a twin-size mattress with a recommended thickness of 4-6 inches on the bed slats.
• Ensure the mattress fits snugly within the guardrails for safety.
• Always use the staircase to access the bed; do not climb on the guardrails or other parts of the structure.

Using the Desk:

• The integrated desk provides a stable surface for studying, working, or creative activities.
• Avoid placing excessively heavy items on the desk surface.

Using the Wardrobe and Storage Staircase:

• Utilize the wardrobe for hanging clothes and the bottom drawer for folded items.
• The staircase steps feature integrated storage compartments or drawers. Open and close them gently.
• Do not overload storage compartments to ensure smooth operation and prevent damage.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your loft bed.

• Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or polishes that may damage the finish.
