Setup

1. Battery Installation

The clock requires 4 C batteries for operation. These are included with your purchase.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 C batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Setting the Time

After installing the batteries, the clock hands will automatically move to the 12 o'clock position. If they do not, or if you need to adjust the time manually:

The SEIKO Melodies in Motion Clock is designed for wall mounting.

  1. Choose a suitable location on a sturdy wall, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  2. Use appropriate wall anchors and screws for your wall type to ensure secure mounting.
  3. Hang the clock using the keyhole slot on the back.

Operating Instructions

Melody and Motion Feature

On the hour, the clock's dial will open to reveal a turning decorative wheel adorned with Swarovski crystals. Simultaneously, one of the pre-programmed melodies will play. The rotating center opens and closes as the melodies are played.

Melody Selection

The clock features a selection of melodies. Refer to the back of the clock or the included quick-start guide for specific instructions on how to switch between melody groups (e.g., Classic, Christmas). Some of the included melodies are:

Light Sensor

The clock is equipped with a light sensor that automatically disables melodies and motion when the room becomes dark. This feature ensures quiet operation during nighttime hours. The melodies and motion will resume when sufficient light is detected.

Volume Control

A volume control knob is located on the side or back of the clock. Rotate this knob to adjust the melody volume to your preferred level.

Demonstration Button

A demonstration button is conveniently located on the front of the clock. Press this button to activate the melody and motion feature at any time, allowing you to preview the clock's performance.

On/Off Switch

An On/Off switch is located on the back of the clock. Use this switch to completely disable all melodies and motion, if desired.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish and internal components.

Battery Replacement

When the melodies become faint, the motion slows, or the clock stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the "Battery Installation" steps in the Setup section to replace all 4 C batteries with new ones.

Troubleshooting
