Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Grinder does not start. | Not plugged in; Bean hopper or grounds container not properly seated; Overheat protection activated. | Ensure plug is securely in outlet. Check that bean hopper and grounds container are correctly installed. Unplug and allow unit to cool for 30 minutes before restarting. |
| Grinding is inconsistent. | Burrs are dirty or clogged; Incorrect grind setting for bean type. | Clean the burrs and grinding chamber thoroughly. Adjust grind setting to a finer or coarser option as needed for your beans and brewing method. |
| Grinder stops during operation. | Overload/Overheat protection; Bean hopper empty. | Unplug and allow unit to cool. Check if beans are sufficient. If grinding for a long period, consider grinding in smaller batches. |
| Excessive static cling of grounds. | Very dry beans; Low humidity environment. | While the container is anti-static, some static can occur. Lightly misting beans with water before grinding can help, or allow grounds to settle before removing container. |
