Product Overview
The Delta® ProClean™ Hand Shower is designed to clean shower surfaces at least two times faster than standard sprays, effectively removing soap scum and shower messes. This handheld shower head offers a focused, wide fan spray for easy cleaning of hard-to-reach areas. It includes a pause setting to conserve water during shower tasks. Featuring soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes, mineral residue can be easily wiped away. This WaterSense® labeled hand shower uses at least 20% less water than the industry standard, promoting water conservation without compromising performance.

Setup and Installation
This Delta ProClean Hand Shower is designed for easy DIY installation onto a standard shower arm. Follow these steps for a secure and leak-free setup.
- Prepare the Shower Arm: Ensure the existing shower arm is clean and free of debris. Apply plumber's tape (Teflon tape) to the threads of the shower arm to create a watertight seal.
- Attach the Shower Arm Mount: Screw the shower arm mount onto the prepared shower arm. Hand-tighten firmly to prevent leaks.
- Connect the Hose: Attach one end of the flexible hose to the shower arm mount and the other end to the handheld shower head. Hand-tighten both connections.
- Secure the Handheld Shower: Place the handheld shower head into the holder on the shower arm mount.
- Test for Leaks: Turn on the water supply and check all connections for any leaks. Adjust tightness if necessary.

Spray Settings:
- ProClean Spray: A powerful, high-pressure spray designed for cleaning shower surfaces and hard-to-reach areas.
- Full Spray: Provides broad, consistent water coverage for a complete rinse.
- Full Spray + Massage: Combines the full spray with a pulsating massage for a relaxing and invigorating experience.
- Massage Spray: A focused, pulsating spray ideal for soothing sore muscles.
- Shampoo Rinsing Spray: Optimized for efficient rinsing of shampoo from hair.
- Pause: Reduces water flow to a trickle, allowing you to lather or shave without changing the water temperature, helping to conserve water.

The dedicated ProClean Spray is engineered to clean shower surfaces at least two times faster than standard sprays. Its focused, wide fan spray powers off soap scum and messes with limited water splashback, making it easier to maintain a clean shower and reduce buildup with regular use.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Delta ProClean Hand Shower, regular maintenance is recommended.
Cleaning Spray Holes:
The soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow for easy removal of mineral residue. Simply wipe away any buildup with your finger or a soft cloth. There is no need for soaking or harsh chemical cleaners.

General Cleaning:
Clean the exterior of the shower head and hose with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Delta ProClean Hand Shower, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Low Water Pressure:
- Check if the water supply valve is fully open.
- Ensure the hose is not kinked or obstructed.
- Clean any mineral buildup from the spray holes using the Touch-Clean feature.
- Verify that the flow restrictor (if present and removable according to local codes) is not clogged.
- Leaks at Connections:
- Ensure all connections (shower arm to mount, hose to mount, hose to shower head) are hand-tightened securely.
- Confirm that plumber's tape was applied to the shower arm threads during installation. If not, re-install with plumber's tape.
- Check for damaged washers or O-rings at connection points and replace if necessary.
- Difficulty Changing Spray Settings:
- Ensure the spray selector is rotated fully to each desired setting.
- Clean any mineral buildup around the spray selector mechanism.
