4. Installation
This section outlines the general installation process for the CASAINC Shower System. For detailed steps, refer to the included installation instructions and consult the general installation video.
4.1. Valve Installation
The shower valve is the central component for water control. It features a pressure-balanced cartridge to prevent sudden temperature changes.
Video 4.1: General installation video demonstrating how to install the round shower valve.
- Prepare the Wall: Ensure the wall opening is correctly sized for the valve body.
- Connect Water Lines: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the designated inlets on the valve body. The valve uses American standard 1/2 inch NPT threads.
- Connect Shower Outlets: Connect the lines for the rain shower head and handheld shower to their respective outlets on the valve.
- Secure the Valve: Mount the valve securely within the wall cavity according to local plumbing codes.
- Install Trim: Once the valve is secured and connections are tested, install the decorative trim plate, handle, and diverter knob.

4.2. Shower Head and Handheld Installation
- Install Shower Arm: Thread the wall-mounted shower arm into the corresponding outlet in the wall. Ensure it is securely tightened and sealed.
- Attach Rain Shower Head: Connect the 10-inch round rain shower head to the shower arm. The shower head features a 360° brass ball joint for adjustable angle.
- Install Handheld Holder: Mount the handheld shower head holder to the wall at a convenient height.
- Connect Shower Hose: Attach the 59-inch stainless steel shower hose to the handheld shower head and the wall outlet.

5. Operation
The CASAINC Shower System offers two functions: a rain shower head and a handheld spray. The single handle controls water temperature and flow, while a diverter knob switches between functions.
- Turn On/Off Water: Rotate the main handle to turn the water on or off.
- Adjust Temperature: Rotate the main handle left for hot water and right for cold water. The pressure-balanced valve maintains a consistent temperature.
- Select Function: Use the diverter knob to switch between the rain shower head and the handheld spray.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your shower system.
- Cleaning the Finish: The brushed gold finish is designed to be durable and resist fingerprints. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
- Self-Cleaning Nozzles: The rain shower head features self-cleaning silicone nozzles. Periodically wipe away any mineral deposits with your finger to maintain consistent water flow.
- Hose Maintenance: Inspect the shower hose regularly for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your shower system, refer to the following common solutions:
- Low Water Pressure: Check if the main water supply is fully open. Inspect shower head and handheld nozzles for mineral buildup and clean them. Ensure no kinks in the shower hose.
- Inconsistent Water Temperature: Verify that both hot and cold water supplies are active. The pressure-balanced valve should prevent major fluctuations, but extreme changes in household water demand can still have a minor effect.
- Leaks: Tighten all connections. If leaks persist, check O-rings and seals for proper placement and condition.
