Setup
1. Charging the Battery
- Connect the USB cable to the scanner's USB-C port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to the power adapter, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
- Allow approximately 3-4 hours for a full charge. The charging indicator light will change color or turn off when fully charged.
Note: A fully charged battery provides up to 12 hours of continuous use.
2. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the side or top) until the screen illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until a power-off menu appears on the screen. Select "Power Off".
3. Initial Configuration
Upon first power-on, the device may guide you through an initial setup wizard for language, time zone, and Wi-Fi connection. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Operating Instructions
1. RFID Reading
- Ensure the RFID application is open on the device.
- Point the RFID antenna towards the RFID tags you wish to read.
- Press and hold the scan trigger. The device will begin reading RFID tags within its range (up to 50 feet).
- Release the trigger to stop reading. Read data will be displayed on the screen or sent to the connected system.
Tip: Software-controllable RFID antenna polarizations can be adjusted in the application settings for optimal read performance in different orientations.
2. Barcode Scanning
- Open the barcode scanning application or position the cursor in a field where barcode input is expected.
- Aim the barcode imager at the barcode, ensuring the red aiming beam covers the entire barcode.
- Press the scan trigger. A successful scan will typically be indicated by a beep and/or a green light.
- The barcode data will be entered into the active field.
3. Data Transfer
Data collected by the scanner can be transferred via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB cable, depending on your application and system configuration.
- Wi-Fi: Data can be synchronized with network servers or cloud services.
- Bluetooth: Connect to compatible devices like laptops or mobile printers for direct data transfer.
- USB Cable: Connect the scanner to a computer to access its internal storage for data files.
