1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of the Tilta Basic Ring Grip Plus Control Kit (Model TGA-PRG2). 2. What's in the Box

3. Setup

3.1. Assembling the Ring Grip

1. Connect Basic Ring Grip Plus Part I (upper section) and Part II (lower section) using the provided connectors. Ensure they are securely fastened.
2. Attach the Side Handles (TGA-PRG-LR) to the designated mounting points on the Ring Grip.

3.2. Gimbal Connection

1. Mount your DJI Ronin RS2, RS 3 Pro, or RS 4/4 Pro gimbal onto the central mounting point of the assembled Ring Grip. The design features a quick-release mechanism for secure attachment.
2. Attach the Wireless Control Receiver Module (TGA-WCR) to your gimbal. This module facilitates wireless communication with the control handle.

3.3. Attaching the Control Handle

1. Secure the DJI Ronin Remote Control Handle (TGA-PRG-RCH) to one of the side handles or a preferred mounting point on the Ring Grip.

3.4. Optional Power Supply Module

4. Operating

4.1. Enhanced Stability and Movement

The Ring Grip Plus provides two points of contact, significantly improving stability and control during gimbal operation. This allows for smoother camera movements and more precise framing.

4.2. Wireless Control Handle Functions

The included DJI Ronin Remote Control Handle offers wireless control over your compatible DJI Ronin gimbal:

• M Button: Typically used for mode switching or custom functions on the gimbal. Refer to your DJI Ronin gimbal's manual for specific M button functionalities.
• Joystick: Provides precise control over gimbal pan and tilt movements.
• Camera Control Button: Used to trigger camera functions such as record start/stop or photo capture, depending on camera and gimbal configuration.

4.3. Low Mode Operation

When equipped with the optional Battery Handle Mount, the Ring Grip Plus can function as a top handle, allowing for quick and easy transitions to low-angle shots.
