3. Setup and Installation

The Semaho Smart Bike Tail Light offers two primary installation methods: under the seat cushion or on the seat post. No additional tools are required for installation.

3.1. Installation Under the Seat Cushion

1. Secure the seat cushion mounting bracket to the rails under your bicycle seat using the provided silicone strap.
2. Insert the tail light into the bracket and rotate it 90 degrees until it clicks securely into place.

3.2. Installation on the Seat Post

1. Attach the seat post mounting bracket to your bicycle's seat post using the adjustable silicone strap. Ensure it is tight and stable.
2. Insert the tail light into the bracket and rotate it 90 degrees until it clicks securely into place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection

• Power On/Off: Long press the power button for approximately 2 seconds to turn the light ON or OFF.
• Normal Mode: From the OFF state, a single short press of the power button will activate Normal Mode. In this mode, the light will operate continuously without smart sensing.
• Smart Mode: From the OFF state, a double-click of the power button will activate Smart Mode. In this mode, the light utilizes both motion and light sensors for automatic operation.
• Cycle Modes: Once the light is ON (in either Normal or Smart Mode), a short press of the power button will cycle through the 6 available lighting modes.

4.2. Lighting Modes

The tail light features 6 distinct lighting modes to suit various riding conditions and preferences:

1. Steady Light: Provides a constant, bright illumination. (Approx. 12 hours runtime)
2. Breathing Flash: A gentle, pulsating flash pattern. (Approx. 16 hours runtime)
3. Slow Flash: A slow, steady flash. (Approx. 24 hours runtime)
4. Rhythm Flash: A dynamic, rhythmic flash pattern. (Approx. 24 hours runtime)
5. ECO Flash: An energy-saving flash mode for extended battery life. (Approx. 60 hours runtime)
6. Fast Flash: A rapid, high-visibility flash. (Approx. 23 hours runtime)

4.3. Smart Brake Sensor

The integrated smart brake sensor automatically detects deceleration. When braking, the tail light will illuminate brightly for 3 seconds to alert following traffic. This feature is active in all lighting modes.

4.4. Automatic On/Off (Smart Mode)

In Smart Mode, the tail light intelligently conserves battery and optimizes visibility:

• Motion Sensor: If no movement is detected for 45 seconds, the light will automatically turn off. It will automatically turn back on when motion is detected again.
• Light Sensor: The light will automatically turn off in bright ambient light (e.g., daytime) to save power. It will turn on automatically in low light conditions (e.g., night or tunnels).
• Daytime Operation: If you wish to use the light continuously during the day, switch to Normal Mode or select a specific mode that overrides the light sensor functionality.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Charging

The tail light is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery and a USB Type-C charging port.

• Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the light and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
• During charging, an indicator light will typically show red.
• Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green.
• Avoid overcharging to prolong battery life.

5.2. Cleaning
