The Dracast X Series LED1000 is a high-output, ultra-bright 5600K daylight LED panel designed for professional video production, interviews, studios, live streaming, and video conferencing. It features a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 96+ and Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) for excellent white color rendition without unwanted color casts.

3. Product Overview

- Anodized Aluminum Housing: Provides excellent durability and passive heat management.
- Integrated Diffusion Filter: Pre-installed for soft, even lighting.
- Mounting Yoke: Includes a 5/8" baby pin adapter for stand mounting.

4. Setup
4.1 Mounting the Light Panel
- Attach the light panel's mounting yoke to a compatible light stand using the integrated 5/8" baby pin adapter.
- Secure the light panel by tightening the locking knob on the light stand.
- Adjust the angle of the light panel using the dual yoke knobs with locking rosettes on either side of the yoke.

4.2 Powering the Light Panel
The Dracast X Series LED1000 offers both AC and DC power options.
AC Power (Wall Outlet)
- Connect the included AC power adapter to the A/C Power In port on the rear of the light panel.
- Plug the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet.
DC Power (Batteries)
- Ensure the light panel is turned off.
- Insert two compatible NP-F style batteries (sold separately) into the dual NP-F battery plates on the rear of the light panel. Ensure correct polarity.
- The light can operate for several hours on a full battery charge.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Locate the power switch on the rear control panel. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the light. Flip to 'OFF' to power off.
5.2 Manual Control
The X Series features an advanced digital user interface for quick and easy manual control.
- Dimming: Rotate the control knob to adjust the brightness from 0% to 100%.
- Color Temperature: The LED1000 Daylight model provides a fixed 5600K color temperature.
- Mode Select: Press the control knob to cycle through available modes or settings if applicable.
5.3 Dracast DRX App Control (Bluetooth)
Control your light panel remotely using the Dracast DRX App, available for iOS and Android devices.
- Download and install the Dracast DRX App from your device's app store.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Open the Dracast DRX App. The app will automatically search for nearby Dracast X Series lights.
- Select your DRX1000DN from the list of detected devices.
- Within the app, you can control:
- Dimming: Adjust brightness from 0% to 100% using sliders.
- Color Temperature: The app allows adjustment of the 5600K color temperature.
- Color Gel Presets: Quickly select and apply various color gel presets.
- Special Effects: Access and control built-in effects such as Police Car, Fireworks, Candlelight, Strobe, TV Screen, and more.
- Group Control: Assign multiple lights to groups for simultaneous control from over 100 feet.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance and appearance:
- Ensure the light is powered off and disconnected from all power sources before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the light panel.
- For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used, followed by a dry cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish or internal components.
6.2 Storage
When not in use, store the light panel in its included nylon clamshell carry case to protect it from dust and physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place.
6.3 Water Resistance
This product is not water resistant. Avoid exposing the light panel to rain, moisture, or any liquids to prevent damage and electrical hazards.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Dracast X Series LED1000, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
