1. Introduction

This user manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your Totolink N350RT WiFi Router. The N350RT is a 2.4 GHz single-band wireless router offering up to 300 Mbps speed, equipped with 5 RJ45 100 Mbps ports (1 WAN, 4 LAN), and two 5 dBi antennas for stable wireless connectivity. It includes features such as WPS, parental control, IPTV support, Multi SSID, and remote management via a mobile application.

3. Hardware Overview

3.1 Front Panel

The front panel features LED indicators that display the operational status of the router and its connections. It also includes a multi-function button for WPS and Reset operations.

3.2 Rear Panel

4. Setup

4.1 Connect the Hardware

  1. Power Off: Ensure your modem and computer are turned off.
  2. Connect Modem: Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of your modem and the other end to the WAN port (yellow) of the N350RT router.
  3. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port of the router and plug the other end into a power outlet.
  4. Power On: Power on your modem first, then wait for it to establish an internet connection. After that, power on the Totolink N350RT router.
  5. Verify LEDs: Check the Power, WLAN, and WAN LEDs on the front panel. They should be lit, indicating proper operation.

4.2 Access the Web Management Interface

  1. Connect to Router:
    • Wired: Connect your computer to one of the LAN ports (red) on the router using an Ethernet cable.
    • Wireless: Connect your computer or mobile device to the router's default WiFi network. The default SSID (network name) and password are usually printed on a label on the bottom of the router.
  2. Open Browser: Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) on your connected device.
  3. Enter IP Address: In the address bar, type the default IP address of the router, typically 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, and press Enter. Refer to the label on your router for the exact default IP and login credentials.
  4. Login: Enter the default username and password when prompted. These are also usually found on the router's label.

4.3 Run Quick Setup Wizard

Upon first login, the router may automatically launch a Quick Setup Wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your internet connection and wireless settings:

5. Operating the Router

This section covers common operational features of your Totolink N350RT router.

5.1 Wireless Settings

To modify your wireless network name (SSID), password, or security type:

  1. Log in to the web management interface.
  2. Navigate to Wireless > Basic Settings or Wireless > Security.
  3. Change the SSID, select a security mode (WPA2-PSK is recommended), and enter a new password.
  4. Save your changes and restart the router if prompted.

5.2 Parental Control

The parental control feature allows you to manage internet access for specific devices or users on your network.

  1. Log in to the web management interface.
  2. Go to Advanced Setup > Parental Control.
  3. You can block specific websites by URL or keyword, and set time schedules for internet access for connected devices.
  4. Apply settings and save.

5.3 Guest Network (Multi SSID)

Create a separate wireless network for guests to provide internet access without sharing your main network resources or password.

  1. Log in to the web management interface.
  2. Navigate to Wireless > Multi SSID or Guest Network.
  3. Enable the guest network, set a unique SSID and password, and configure access restrictions if desired.
  4. Save your configuration.

5.4 WPS Function

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) allows you to connect WPS-compatible devices to your wireless network quickly without entering the password.

5.5 IPTV Support

The N350RT supports IPTV services. Configuration details may vary depending on your IPTV provider. Typically, you can find IPTV settings under Advanced Setup > IPTV in the web management interface. Consult your IPTV provider's documentation for specific settings.

5.6 Remote Control Application

Manage your router's functions from your mobile phone using the dedicated Totolink remote control application. Download the application from your device's app store (e.g., Google Play Store, Apple App Store) and follow the in-app instructions to connect to and manage your N350RT router.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Firmware Upgrade

Keeping your router's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.

  1. Download the latest firmware file for the N350RT from the official Totolink website (www.totolink.net).
  2. Log in to the router's web management interface.
  3. Navigate to System Tools > Firmware Upgrade.
  4. Browse to the downloaded firmware file and click Upgrade.
  5. Do not power off the router during the upgrade process. The router will restart automatically after the upgrade is complete.

6.2 Backup and Restore Configuration

You can back up your router's current configuration settings to a file on your computer and restore them later if needed.

6.3 Factory Reset
