Operating Instructions
1. Grinding Coffee Beans

- Insert the portafilter into the grinding cradle.
- Adjust the grind size using the dial on the bean hopper. Experiment to find the optimal grind for your beans and desired extraction. A finer grind is generally better for espresso.
- Press and hold the GRIND button (located near the portafilter cradle) to dispense freshly ground coffee into the portafilter. Release when the desired amount is reached.
- Use the included tamper to firmly press the ground coffee into a level puck.

- Select your desired shot size:
- Press the 1-cup button for a single espresso shot.
- Press the 2-cup button for a double espresso shot.
- The machine will initiate a pre-brewing function, followed by the 15-bar pressure extraction. Monitor the pressure gauge on the control panel for optimal extraction range.

3. Using the Steam Wand for Milk Frothing
- Fill the stainless steel milk pitcher with cold milk (approximately 120ml for a full pitcher of foam).
- Press the STEAM button on the control panel. Wait for the machine to reach steaming temperature (indicator light will illuminate steadily).
- Position the steam wand just below the surface of the milk in the pitcher.
- Turn the steam knob to release steam. Lower the pitcher slightly to introduce air for frothing, then submerge the wand deeper to heat the milk.
- Once the desired texture and temperature are achieved, turn off the steam knob and remove the pitcher.
- Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
