4. Setup
Before starting your generator, ensure it is placed on a firm, level surface in a well-ventilated outdoor area, away from any combustible materials.
4.1 Add Engine Oil
- Ensure the generator is off and cool.
- Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Using the provided oil funnel, slowly add the recommended 4-stroke engine oil (e.g., SAE 10W-30) to the crankcase. Do not overfill. The oil capacity is approximately 0.45 L.
- Check the oil level with the dipstick; it should be at the upper limit.
- Securely replace the oil fill cap.
4.2 Add Fuel
- Ensure the generator is off and cool.
- Open the fuel tank cap.
- Fill the fuel tank with unleaded gasoline. The fuel tank capacity is 8.5 L. Do not overfill; leave some space for fuel expansion.
- Securely replace the fuel tank cap.
4.3 Grounding
For safety, always ground the generator before operation. Connect a grounding wire from the generator's grounding terminal to an appropriate ground source, such as a ground rod.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Generator

Figure 5.1: Control panel showing the choke and engine switch for starting.
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all connections are secure.
- Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
- Pull the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position (if the engine is cold).
- Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
- Pull the recoil starter handle firmly until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, slowly move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before connecting electrical loads.
5.2 ECO Mode Operation
The ECO mode switch allows the generator to adjust engine speed based on the load, improving fuel efficiency and reducing noise. To activate ECO mode, turn the ECO switch to the "ON" position. For full power output, ensure the ECO switch is in the "OFF" position.
5.3 Connecting Electrical Devices
Once the generator is running stably, you can connect your electrical devices to the appropriate outlets (AC, DC, or USB). Ensure the total wattage of connected devices does not exceed the generator's running power (3000W) to prevent overload.

5.5 Stopping the Generator
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
- Turn the engine switch to the "OFF" position.
- Turn the fuel valve to the "OFF" position.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and reliable performance of your generator. Always ensure the generator is off and cool before performing any maintenance.
- Engine Oil: Check the oil level before each use. Change the engine oil after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 50-100 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
- Air Filter: Inspect the air filter regularly. Clean or replace it if it is dirty or clogged. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance.
- Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug annually or every 100 hours. Clean or replace it if necessary. Ensure the gap is set correctly according to specifications.
- Fuel Filter: Inspect and clean the fuel filter periodically.
- Storage: For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and carburetor, or use a fuel stabilizer. Store the generator in a clean, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your generator. For problems not listed here, please contact customer support.
7.1 LED Indicators
The control panel features indicator lights to help diagnose operational status:
- AC Output Ready (Green LED): Illuminates when the generator is producing stable AC power.
- Overload (Red LED): Illuminates if the generator is overloaded. The generator may shut down to prevent damage. Reduce the load and restart the generator.
- Low Oil (Yellow LED): Illuminates when the engine oil level is low. The generator will automatically shut down to prevent engine damage. Add engine oil to the correct level.
7.2 Common Issues
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Engine does not start | No fuel, low oil, choke position incorrect, engine switch off, spark plug issue. | Check fuel level, add oil, adjust choke, turn engine switch on, inspect/clean spark plug. |
| No power output | Overload, circuit breaker tripped, AC output ready light not on. | Reduce load, reset circuit breaker, ensure generator is running stably. |
| Engine runs rough | Stale fuel, dirty air filter, spark plug issue. | Use fresh fuel, clean/replace air filter, inspect/clean spark plug. |
